You need to master the art of hitting block right before they hit you, pretty much a necessity for beating Titan.
Spoiler: show
Just finished single player in Portal 2, and holy shit at the ending lol. What an amazing game.
Spoiler: show
Dunno where to post that so I'll leave it here: I saw that a full translation patch was released for Tales of Innocence.
Finally beat it on titan last night... thought the last fight was really well done in terms of difficulty. now to finish off the few trophies I have left so I can start WKC2 @.@
Just finished up Yakuza 4 today before heading into work. Compared to the prior three releases I don't think the story was anywhere near as strong. Still enjoyable nonetheless. But I wasn't a huge fan of the story splitting into four different characters. I loved Kiryu's storyline and Akiyama's. Saejima was alright. And the cop I didn't care enough to even remember his name.
The Yakuza series has always been a great series because of the story itself. But I think that they attempted to make the story far too complicated for their own good. It got to the point where people's deaths got predictable. Weakest in the series imo, but still a blast to play.
Been playing Dungeon Defenders with some friends lately since I bought the 4 pack for christmas and we're finally getting around to it. Beat the game with them on all difficulties (except Nightmare, still working on that[it's a gear issue]) plus most of the challenges but most of the remaining content is poorly designed or just too damn hard.
Also got a Dota 2 key from coal for christmas and I've manned up and started playing real matches. Never played the original so I was trying to learn the heroes by playing with bots, researching the wiki, etc. but the bots are so fucking godawful (allied bots are pants-on-head retarded, enemy bots have unreal aim, timing, and teamwork) in this game it's rage inducing. Attempting to get into my friend's team but his teammates are pretty dumb... After 100+ games the one guy still asks dumb shit like "what do i do" and follows people around the map so I'm not too enthusiastic about it.
If you ever figure out wtf needs to be grinded off in WKC1 before moving onto WKC2 content gimmy a dingle. I'm still trying to figure the damn game out, and when I should start GR grinding or not so I'm not wasting extra time backtracking or completing content before I focus on the trophies.
For as fucking retarded the story in the first campaign is (so many cliches, and crap like "We need the key to the south gate of this town to exit! Never mind the fact we can just exit the east side and walk our way around instead!"), I'm quite enjoying the gameplay, even with its rock-paper-scissors formula. I also feel stupid for just figuring out how to change PT members mid-combat recently. AI members too fucking stupid to buff party when no one needs heals, so I'm doing that manually now.
I really should go bump the WKC thread...
Also been playing some THUG2 on the PSP recently while awaiting THPS HD. Forgot how crazy of a good port THUG2 was to that system, all content intact plus some new locations. A launch title to boot too.
Don't bother grinding anything in WKC1. Do the bounties and whatnot that you can manage, and just move along. You'll end up getting access to better and easier to obtain gear throughout the course of the story and the bounties after it's conclusion.
Finally finished off Arkham Asylum. Working through FFXIII-2 as well. Probably going to clean up my ME2 save and finish Arrival the next couple days to get ready for next week.
Bounties are the quests you're only allowed to have one taken out of a time?
I'm taking it the quests/errands and what not from WKC1 campaign carry over to WKC2 so I can't really 'miss' anything. Game looking crazy long at any rate, so much shit to do, kinda wish there was a means of running around faster.
Finished ME2 so I can be prepared for ME3 last night... Now its SSX time til the ME3 delivery arrives next week.... Screw my jury duty on Tuesday... damn criminals!
Right now I'm playing through Deathspank. It's an awesome game.
Yeah, can only do one bounty at a time IIRC. And the errands/quests are carried over, can't really miss anything.
The errands are annoying as fuck, if I was trying to plat WKC2 I'd probably go insane doing them, luckily I don't have NA WKC2 so not going for plat. I still, however, had to do some errands to unlock some skills and whatnot.
Doing all the bounties and some errands will put you at GR15/16.
Plat Borderlands yesterday morning, enjoyed that game so damn much, more than I thought I would actually. Currently back to playing WKC2 again til I can get a copy of MK2.
Playing ME2.
Been awhile since I've been this consumed by a game.
I almost wanna tell my students today "sorry, ME2, go do something else".
Just finished ME2. Holy crap that game was absolutely amazing. I was a little disappointed that I clocked in under 30 hours of total game play but the story didn't feel rushed at all. Pumped for ME3 now.
Finished Skyrim platinum a few nights ago, not sure what to play now. I have a ton of games that need to be finished/platinum'd, just don't know where to start. I only need a few more trophies for the ME2 platinum, but I'm probably not going to be able to get ME3 right when it comes out, so I'd really rather not tease myself. Maybe go back to Arkham City, but it was a lot more difficult for me to get into City as opposed to Asylum.
Just started playing Manhunt 1 on PC again after finding it in an old Box of Pc-games.
I totally forgot how awesome the soundtrack is.
Star Wars: The Old Republic, Team Fortress 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect, and your mom.
Playing the jak and daxter series for the first time, in 3D. Reminds me of my banjo&kazooie days.
