Shogo M.A.D. oh man this Game is still so fun.
Found a site with mods as well, only Missing a real Multiplayer.
Playing Tales of Graces F on PS3 dunno how far i am from the end but surely got a bit still
Elemental Monsters - Online Card Game - on PSN. .99 cent card game that has a plat, 12hr+ sp, and big online component.
Seems well worth it except for the fact it's hard to get cards from it. Unless you work hard or wanna spend $5 a pack. Seems fair since it is .99 cents.
Just started playing it though. Anyone else play it?
Just platinumed Kaizoku Musou, trying to decide what to play next, either NIER or Resonance of Fate.
Been playing Kid Icarus uprising. Loving it so far.
Grandia II. figured my PS2 needed some love, and I never really gave this game a chance.
+ GameArts's trademark quality writing (props to the writers for not dragging out the obviousreveal, as so many poorly-written games would have)Spoiler: show
+ great battle system
+ ridiculous levels of character customization
- clunky interface (my kingdom for a way to change the text speed!)
- graphics that are actually WORSE on the PS2 than they were on the Dreamcast
overall, I'm liking it. I haven't played an old-school JRPG in a great while, and this is a perfect game to feed that fix.
not sure how much play it will get though... just picked up a 3DS today with Ocarina, and I'm gonna grab Icarus as well as TotA next.
There's actually a PC port of Grandia 2 which looks a lot better than the PS2 port if you're not too far in. I loved the game, though. It just gets a bit easy once you figure out how to exploit some of the skills.
PC port was how I got to play it. Ran buttery smooth on my shit rig at the time, which I wasn't used to given most console ports were atrocious back then.
The blending of in-engine and FMV for visual effects never got old.
That and the trademark sounding soundtracks they have across all of their games.
DC version is better than both the PC and PS2, best bet is to just emulate that. And just a general fuck yeah at Grandia 2, one of my favourite RPGs of all time fo' sure. Love the combat and the soundtrack is badass. Everyone should check it out if they have never played it.
my PS2 is the only working non-handheld device in my home right now (long story, don't ask lol) and it's saving my butt from boredom bigtime. and by the time I get my PC back in working order I'll probably be too far into the game to start over. I appreciate the heads-up, though.
as long as we're on the subject of Grandia II, what is the final party?
Can't really say without huge spoilers lol. You use pretty much everyone throughout the game though and you get skills refunded on the one character you lose if that's what you're worried about. If you really wanna know the final 3 that you use on the last boss though... big spoilers:
Spoiler: show
oh you get your skills refunded? yeah, that's what I was worried about.
I read the spoilers anyway, though... that is interesting. I'm curious to see how that works out. thanks![]()
OMG YOU RUIN THE GAME KIARASS!
