Once I finish XS ep1 (which I haven't been playing a lot of) I'm going to play this wonderful game again.

Platinumed NIER, picked up Orochi 3, that should be fun!
Played a bit of WO3 last night. Enjoyable enough. LOL at Sima Zhao Dante'ing enemies.
I finished Radiant Historia a bit ago. It's hard for me to condense how I feel about it, but maybe this'll put some perpective:
I finished it in a week. The game never made it to my backlog.
This does not happen often, if ever.
So, I'm curious if my new laptop can run PS2 games. Anyone know the specs required? Mainly for the JP 'Tales of' and KH:Final Mix games.
My specs are(not sure on how to find all of it, so if anythings missing, sorry.) :
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
RAM: 8 GB
My graphics card info(I think lol):
Chip Type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC Type: Internal
Adapter String: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
Total Available Graphics Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 64 MB
System Video Memory: 0 MB
Shared System Memory: 1632 MB
My laptop is worse than this and I played ToD2 and ToD:R just fine, with those being 2d games though. You should certainly be able to run those, but 3d games is a toss up, some don't run well even on very good desktop PCs just because of compatibility issues, with but necessary speedhacks I would think you'd be able to run a decent amount of stuff.
Good to hear. Those 2 Tales were my main priority too since I've never played them and hear so many good things. KH was just for the fuck of it.
Thanks.
Now to just find DL links for those.
to the person playing xenosaga, it'll all be worth it when you get to episode 3. That one is wtfawesome.
Honestly, it wasn't that bad. The only thing that really gave me any trouble was the "Upgrade all weapons trophy", grinding for some of the items can be extremely boring (Forlorn Necklaces and Subdued Bracelets mostly). Other than that though, nothing will give you any problems.
Man I keep forgetting to play Nier, I've had it for so long now since I got it for 10 bucks. I have so much shit to play though it's gonna have wait longer still, though I probably won't be attempting Plat for it.
Right now I'm playing WO3, ToGf, NUNSG here and there, and DMC Collection. Started out with 2 first to get it out the way, finished Lucia story and almost done with Dante's. DMC2 looks like hardest plat out of collection as well, sad since its the least enjoyable one to me. S ranking in 2 is such a bitch as well.
posting this because I know some of you are ADD like me. here's what I'm currently playing, in order of how much I'm playing them:
- OoT 3DS
- Tales of the Abyss
- Kid Icarus: Uprising
- Grandia II
- Mario 3D Land
five games, that's enough right? so what did I do when I was bored before bed last night? did I play one of those?
no. I started Digital Devil Saga 2. for no good reason, lol
to be fair though, I've played through DDS1 and really want to start DDS2 to see where the story goes. among the cliffhangers I've experienced, the end of DDS1 ranks toward the top.
I'm sure that someone will probably call me a blasphemer for it, but Rorona just shot the series through the heart for me. I started back on the original Iris on the PS2, and shit's just been a downhill slide from there, peaked back up with MK1, and then started sliding again. I've still yet to compel myself to finish Rorona, about two-thirds of the way through the game I just started feeling like taking a power drill and boring straight into my skull would probably be preferable to continuing.
I'm cautiously optimistic about Ayesha though. I'd like to finish the Rorona/Totori/Meruru set of games some day, but I'm just not sure I'll ever be able to convince myself to.
I plan to buy Iris 1-3 and Mana Khemia 2,got 1 a couple weeks back on ps2. MK is kinda hard tbh.
Just picked up Dead Rising 2 for $10, having never played the first one. I think I like the whole timer thing, but for someone who loves to explore everywhere/do everything, the timer makes me crazy @.@
and now, for no reason, I've started FFX-2. I have a problem you guys.
really loving the game though; it's silly but entertaining and the battles are fun as hell. really one of the better RPG battle systems out there, imo.
The battle system was fun until I encountered Chac.
RAGE!
Of course I was able to go on the internet and find strategies to beat it but that kinda cheapened the experience.
Been attempting to play Fallout, but good lord that game is unforgiving and it's too easy to piss guards off.
