Went really retro and bought Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Pretty fun, though winning a fight is pretty much impossible.

Playing Tactics Ogre and Armored Core on the PSP right now, holy shit I am terrible at both of them. I'm at least winning battles in Ogre and wow are archers fucking broken but I feel like that's the only reason I'm winning. I'm all over the place with jobs and gear selections. Don't have a prayer in AC, though.

It's Formula Front. Look I was fucking great at Armored Core back in the day, but this psp shit isn't happening. I got to the A League and am permanently getting wrecked. Not crazy about the pre-built ACs, either, building your own from scratch was half the fun.

I tried to play AC3 portable and I couldn't do it either.
I was tempted to play TLR Portable but then I was like LOLNOI'MNOTAMASOCHIST

If anything it just makes me want to play the newer console games, I think Silent Line was the last one I played. I can't even recall playing any newer mech games at all and that is sad.

Darksiders - Nearly done with it. Slightly disappointed that the game never really bothers building up a climax. Solid game though and can't wait for the sequel, assuming THQ doesn't go under before then

Driver:SF - Fuckawesome game. Reminds me of Burnout Paradise in the sense of there being gameplay mechanics put in just for the sake of making the game more fun to play. About halfway through the story and the plot just keeps getting weirder in a good way.

Another World 15th Anny - Found a retail copy for a couple bucks randomly. Installed it, played it, beat it. I can see wtf the hubbub was about for it despite its short length. Not quite sure how the dev pulled off some of the vectorized polygonal shit he did back then, but he did, and it sure made for some cinematic moments of the like I doubt I'd have even seen around 1991 when I was still dicking around on the ol' NES.

I could go for another platformer like it honestly. Just cool running around a world where shit is fully realized, with stuff happening on other planes, rather than flat static 2d tilemap worlds of Mario Bros and the like.

M&B Warband - Clocked 10hrs in on the Napoleonic DLC. This add-on really fulfills some weird unexpected desires. Lots of god damn potential for teamwork given you're on a decent sized server where people use Vent/TS3. That and blasting people's ears off with my bagpipes.


Also playing some Castlevania Chronicles on the side, because I feel compelled to beat it for some reason.

Chromehounds is excellent imo. Not a fan of AC4 though, I'd say just get AC5. They did some really awful things to the controls and overall game flow in AC4 and it's mutations/mini-sequels/whatever.

In between league of legends I've been taking advantage of the free PSN games I never played. Rachet and Clank all4one local coop at home and Tomb Raider and the Guardian of Light. Rachet has its flaws, but it is fairly entertaining deeper into the game. Tomb Raider is actually a lot more fun than I realized. A few of the challenges are a little too easy, but there are enough of them to make you feel satisfied upon completion.

obv. still playing Suikoden V. <3 Shigure + boost rune + power rune. also just got Richard and Zerase. monsters are about to start getting seriously faced.

picked up Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. aside from the slowdown and sound issues (WHY DO ALL MY SUMMONS SOUND LIKE A DYING ROBOT), it's basically just a better version of the original FFT. which is like having a better version of sex. about to go whoop some Wiegraf ass at Riovanes, good times.

Not sure if it is an option but you could install the slowdown patch for FFT... it is pretty easy to do.

I have read that there are a few random bugs, but I have had no issues myself. You can also patch out the screen stretching too if it bothers you. I got used to playing it in the stretched format so I didn't use that part of the patch.
