How did you like that "twist" after beating Chester the 2nd time? lol
Wait till you see Galbalan.. difficult but amazingly fun fight once you figure it out.

Already beat the game on Normal so I know all about it. But yeah, that twist was amazing, didn't see that coming a mile away.
Final boss was pretty fun. No clue how the hell people managed to get the achievement of beating him without taking damage.
I can up until the VERY last part where you have to reflect that ball ala Ocarina of time, cept a hundred times more insane.
Yeah, that part pisses me off. Bullet hell portals made it hard to focus on that ball.
Should Felghana be played on hard? Going to download my Steam copy sometime this week and get into it. Only prior experience with the series are the two bumper-car Adol versions of Ys 1 & 2 on the DS.
Only thing I know to expect is to hook up a gamepad.
BG Halp.
With the steam sale over I have acquired a good amount of new games to play plus some games i'd like to replay but can't decide in which order I want to play them! Thoughts?
Games to play:
The Last Remnant
Portal 2
Deus Ex: Human Rev.
Ys: The Oath in Felghana
Trine 1&2
The binding of Isaac
Bastion
Games to Replay:
Final Fantasy Tactics
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Golden Sun 1&2
Portal 2 first and foremost. It's easy to digest, and isn't that long.
Can probably follow that up with Trine 1/2 after, which aren't very long games either. That or supplement them as breathers inbetween the likes of Deus Ex or TLR.
Start with Normal, Hard is very brutal. I can only imagine how annoying Nightmare/Inferno will be.
I'm at the final boss on Hard and he is near impossible. I can't dodge his projectile spam to save my life and each hit takes over 10% of my health. Grinding doesn't do a whole lot of good later on since mobs hardly give EXP around the 50s. No clue how anyone managed to hit 60.
Felghana on normal is challenging as it is, I was not expecting the difficulty when I first started playing it but enjoy it so very much.
Definitely start on normal.
I made the mistake of thinking I could start it on hard.
Yeah. Got to the lava pits boss and said fuck it.
Finally beat Felghana on Hard. Last boss is one annoying SoB.
I will echo playing Felghana on normal. The game is brutal enough as it is. It's the enjoyable sort of challenge, thoughI really need to pick that game up for my PSP.
It was hinted at, so it's likely they're working on it, but no actual announcements about it yet. :/
Also, could always use an emulator!
And play the undub version I made so you can hear everyone grunting in a different language :D
I started playing Pokemon Black again, not really sure why. I'm only at the second gym, used my flash cart to get all tms/hms and infinite rare candys so I don't have to deal with grinding... Not really sure if the game is more or less boring without grinding.
Zelda Twilight princess has been sitting at the spirit temple or whatever it is for several months, I should finish that and finally unwrap and play skyward sword.
That's good, if it actually happens anyway. Btw... where do people find this stuff out from, I just randomly check PSN/Live every now and then and hope something at least semi decent is put up.![]()
For me it's Kotaku(shitty editors, but they're quick with spreading new news), Destructoid, GiantBomb, and here.
Playstation Blog can be handy for upcoming releases for PSN related stuff also.
[EDIT] Also Andriasang for Japanese-related crap.
Went with normal, using the keyboard since I can't be arsed to diddle around with sixaxis drivers right now. Only two bosses down so far and I've already had to try both of them 6+ times because of my fingers failing to hit the jump key when I want it too. Outside of fighting games on my stick (which my PC won't read, lolMadCatz), my brain is just hard-wired to my thumb controlling primary actions, not multiple fingers.
Granted they'd have probably been much easier fights if I just went back to town and got my shit upgraded...
Finally beat Dark Souls for the first time, using a bow character. The most trouble I had was with Sif and Four Kings, Four Kings for obvious reasons but Sif was equally as troublesome as his/her swings were so deceptive and bows have a moment of animation lock. Started new game plus and plowing through everything, but I really want to start invading.
Spoiler: show
If I can't get a grasp on the pvp, I may move on to a different game, most likely Disgaea 4.
