Been playing a ton of Amalur. I love the lore and the battle system is great. The ability to reset/rebuild your character at any time is a nice touch as well. Enemies level lock when you hit an area which is good/bad. In FFXI terms, most enemies con too weak to me so it can be a bit repetitive but every once in a while I'll hit a new dungeon and run into mobs that are actually at my level. Most of that is a result of me grinding every quest I can and constantly tweaking my character. I'm 8 levels from cap and have done about 130 quests... and just now did the second main story quest. lol

Sounds like me, ha ha. Great game. So many sidequests it's like Xenoblade.

Finally got the PS2 emulator to work correctly. Time to dive into FF12 International Zodiac Job System.

i figure i may as well try for the TDE, but i have no idea if my reason choices so far will affect the ability to get that or not. is it just a matter of clearing amala before the final dungeon, or should i have been answering the reason questions in a specific way as well?

My brother and I are trying to remember a game for the PS1. Teeny chance it's PS2 but pretty sure it's 1.
I wouldn't call it a racing game, but you're in a car driving vertically but can steer left and right around terrain. It's a military vehicle of some sort, shooting bad guys/vehicles. The biggest thing was that the cutscenes were video clips and I think a woman would talk you through the mission you were about to go on. Your character(s) may have been silhouetted Mystery Science Theater 3000 style at the bottom of the screen.
Potentially buying upgrades in between levels and whatnot.

doesn't ring a bell, but the part about FMV clips definitely makes it sound like early PS1 era.

Your answers usually have to be as neutral as possible, I always went with "let me think about it". You should be ok as long as you DO NOT ENTER the Tower of Kagatsuchi before completing the Labyrinth. Be sure to complete the entire Labyrinth before you do enter ToK. You also get "pierce" which is a passive skill unique only to this game, once you become a true demon. It completely ignores defense and destroys anything. The kind of damage you can pull with debuffs, buffs, focus+Freikugel = insane. It's a godsend against Lucifer, his defense is just retarded. Without Pierce the attempts would take me at least an hour and only to fail.

Your reason answers don't actually matter for TDE as long as you reach the end of amala before entering the tower of Kagatsuchi you're golden.

Good man, be ready for some potential frustration. I had trouble with the first few fights solo, kept on getting crit to death (you and the enemy get an extra press turn for crits). Can't wait to see everyone's impressions.

Haha, yeah, I got that too.

It's been pretty easy since getting a few extra demons, just beat Forneus. I don't remember where exactly I was in my old save, but I think I was only 2 or 3 dungeons in, so should catch up pretty soon.

This game makes me miss world maps too damn much, I love exploring the little hidden things, leveling up, looking at the effects of the Vortex World.

I myself am at the fouth Kalpa now, can't wait to get Dante in my party again.

love the BG Nocturne replay-fest going on here. I just reached the save point in the Great Underpass of Ginza. already working on Nozuchi and that dog demon whose name I can never remember; I'll be fusing Uzume as soon as I hit 18. Matador, you've met your match.

pondering whether or not I'll go for Masakados this time around. I just hate the puzzle boy so much. really annoying that you can't save your progress with him.

Masakados is probably the only magatama that is on par with the higher end demons that you can get. I have just kept Magoreth most the time. I will 2nd that for Puzzle Boy lol, I hate going through it but I will admit I did have some fun figuring them out.

few hours later, got me a willowisp w/ riberama, and got the macca i needed to buy both magatamas, and my MC is already level 14 >_> time to move on, I guess, lol.

Just picked up a new copy of Deus Ex Human Revolution for PC at Best Buy for 2.99, so I guess I'll start playing that tonight.

Trying to get into a new game that's MMO'ish. Dark Souls or Borderlands seem pretty cool, any other games like that before I decide to focus on one?
