Well I've encountered the first truly hard boss fight to date (and by truly hard I mean without abusing the huge amount of healing items you can get). The bird boss before the wind altar, dodging some of the draw-in/push back wind backs is a pain in the ass.
I started on hard, but I find I usually playthrough a fresh Ys game on hard first and do nightmare if I really like the game (which was the case with Origins). This is such a great little series, in comparison what are the PSP versions of Ys I and II like? Like Oath and Origins or like 7?
I just recently beat Mario is Missing on the SNES lol. I bought a used SNES last year and have been digging it ever since. Never had one growing up (had a Genesis).
Can't go wrong with Super Mario RPG, WWF Raw and Royal Rumble, TMNT 4, and Mario Kart.
Sentinel 3... still leveling via endless mode, but even with millions in $, I can't seem to break wave 250...
god, Binding of Isaac is the best $1.25 I've ever spent.
Borrowing a copy of Assassin's Creed 2 so I can move on to 3. Unfortunately, I deleted my previous data from a year ago and I have to start over :/.
Fan translation of the NDS Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo ~ Hikari to Kage no Eiyuu ... this is so good. Exactly what Shadow Dragon should have been. Great translation so far. Between this and P4G I am effed.
Beat Virtue's Last Reward (Amazing) and Persona 4 Golden (Still Good). Doing Trophies for Golden because why not.
Not sure what to beat next but I have a decent pile to pick through.
went to Gamestop today and picked up "Fuck You, I'm The Computer And I'll Cheat If I Want To"
Spoiler: show
Until I read the spoiler I was wondering why Gamestop was still selling copies of the N64 Mario Party games
I picked up a bunch of games I don't have time to play during Steam's Thanksgiving sale including both of The Witchers and L.A. Noire. Haven't installed The Witcher 2 yet, but I've played a couple hours each of the other two and maaan I need more free time.
Do you keep a crt around just for your snes? I can't even stand ps2 Res on an HDTV... Mario RPG was great and I assume tmnt4 was turtles in time, also great (but confusing due to at least 3 different versions including arcade that had exclusive levels). There was a great wrestling game on snes too but it wasn't ww-liscenced, had at least one lucadore in it.
Just started battlestar galactica online - not sure how long it takes to get a cool ship but the game seems alright so far.
nah, on PSP. great game to play randomly on the go.
edit: also picked up...
- Sega Genesis Collection. a bit pricey at $15 but well worth it. hell, portable Phantasy Star IV alone would be worth more than that.
- Taito Legends PSP or whatever the name is. not that great but it was $2, can't complain. really, really wish it included Rainbow Islands.
- Exit. haven't played this yet, but again - $2. can't go wrong with that.
been scouring the bargain PSP bin at Gamestop lately, as you can see.
Nice little twist at the end of Xenoblade, I wasn't expecting how the world came to be. Gonna start The last story next I hope its just as good.
