Played a fuckton of Rayman Origins on the Vita the past couple weeks and 100%ing it. Never did beat my PS3 copy of it, but it was much more approachable for me on the handheld since I could just sleep mode it whenever I want and continue it later. I'll be annoyed if Ubisoft doesn't announce a port of Rayman Legends later this year for other platforms. I also went and beat Second Sight on PC. An ok game, but some aspects of it didn't translate well to higher resolution and KB&M.

Currently am back to work on finishing XIII-2 so I'm ready for XIII-3 whenever that arrives. Game difficulty sure spiked near the tail-end, so I'm just farming CP/mobs/fragments in the meantime so I'm better equipped for the last boss.

Also picked up Yakuza Dead Souls. Still haven't opened up my copy of Yakuza 4, so I'll probably play through that first. SEGA is likely not announcing #5's localization for a few months yet, so I got plenty of time to get the main story in both completed. I got such a stupid large backlog. Too many bargain-bin games I picked up over the last couple months as retailers were clearing older stock to make room for the AAA releases, half of which I haven't even opened yet due to lack of time.

[EDIT] Three hours of automated CP farming later (thank you turbo button on fightstick), just trail-blazed the last boss. Oops!

Playstation Allstars Battle Royale. Probably the best Smash Bros clone I've played. Not as refined as SB, but still a crapload of fun. Just need to finish Arcade mode a couple more times for the Plat (though I'll keep playing for a long time after I get the Plat). Just wish there were less Kratos and Raidens online..... I swear I feel like its almost mandatory for there to be at least 1 of the 2 in each match. Still, tons of fun when I use Heihachis stupid bear and curbstomp all of them.

No doubt. Kratos is the 'Eddie Gordo' of PABR. I dig the game and it's a lot of fun to play with my kids but I do feel like certain characters are much weaker than others. Either way, saving up for 2 specials > 1 special.

Just found out Front Mission 2 has an english patch, at least it seems for the main storyline of the game, I heard this one is regarded as the best in the series, next to 5. Going to boot it up after tonight's fight card.

I can't stop playing Anarchy Reigns. It would probably be a lot more fun if there was a decent sized group on BG that played every once in awhile. I completely forgot about FF12 but I'll have to get back to that eventually.

Just finished AC3. Ending was meh but the game overall was really damn fun. Moving on to God of War 2 since wifey got me the GoW Saga (1-3 + psp games) for Christmas. Backlog must wait a little longer.

I lost my copy of Fire Emblem. I won't have access to any method of emulation for quite some time. I tried playing Sacred Stones, but it's not the same (being able to grind ruins the difficulty). The cheapest copy I can find is $40 (incl shipping) on Amazon, cartridge only. (box/manual runs at least $60 if not more).

Speaking of The Sacred Stones, that's the one FE game I played and I thought it was pretty much ass.
Do you think it sucks donkey compared to the rest of the series? I'm hoping you'll say yes as that's practically the only thing that'll get me to ever try another one.

If it isn't terribly different aside from being able to grind, I guess the series is just not for me.

it's not as good. the story is sub-par and the game is ludicrously easy. but the graphics, music, and core gameplay are mostly the same as the first US Fire Emblem.

There is also a lot of Player vs Monster which is really dumb. FE8 was easily the worst of the series.

Trying out the open beta of Dust 514. Very similar to EvE online in terms of UI/gear/skills/builds and that really steep learning curvecliff. You're not going to just jump into games and dominate, there's a lot of strategy involved.

It's still in beta phase until further notice and there's only multiplayer available, but worth a try since it's free. Especially if you want a FPS that's a lot more cerebral than CoD.

Best Buy has WWE 13 on sale for $40 this week, and with $35 in gift cards I have I figured why not. Had to order it as my local store was out. I'm almost finished with Red Dead Redemption and then will start messing with Sleeping Dogs. I'm not very good at playing more than 1 non sports game at a time -.-

I almost didn't pick up WWE 13 to get Dark Souls instead. I've never played Demon Souls or any other related game. Went with WWE since those games rarely drop in price until the next years edition is out and Dark Souls is regularly $20. On a 1-10, how would people rate Dark Souls?
