Red Dead Redemption for the first time
Thanks to MMO's sucking up my time, i'm going through my backlog of games i either never started, or started but never finished. Trying to wrap up FF12, and then it's on to FF-9 for me.
Lollipop Chainsaw
Game is great. Curious how how the meetings and brainstorming crazy shit for this game must have been. Was probably fun and hilarious.
Nah, they are standalone games. Nevertheless, P3 is quite similar to 4 so you should also like it. P1&2 are quite different though. Personally, I had problems getting hooked on the 1st, but I found both P2 (as there are two Persona 2 games actually) quite addicting.
Playing Persona 3 Portable myself. Enjoying it, but it took a little time to get the feel of when to ignore going to Tartarus and how best to boost the 3 social skills.
FF9 is riiight below FF6 on my "favorite FFs ever" list. FF6 wins mostly because of nostalgia points. 6 had the better story and setting overall, but I feel like 9 had better-developed characters.
Spoiler: show
If they remade FF6 in full 3D the way that they did FF4 (which is probably one of the more boring FFs imo, since all the characters are pretty 2-dimensional and the plot kinda falls apart toward the end) I may just die from sheer fangirly giddiness.
The music alone for that game brings me peace and sadness. Damn, since you mentioned FFIX you have both made and ruined my day. I must go replay that game.
Notice how about 4-5 songs in FF9 are just a different tune of Melodies Of Life. Heck above both memories eraised in the sand and Crossing those hills has the tune changed up a bit.
Got my PS3 hacked again finally :D
Replaying Tales of Graces F -- JP base, English text, JP voices, JP DLC!!! wooo
Assassin's Creed II.
This game is leaps and bounds (ha ha! unintentional pun) better than the first one. I couldn't even play through the first because it felt so tedious, despite the interesting story.
Just got Anarchy Reigns.
Tried Ys Seven on Nightmare difficulty and all I can say is good lord the first boss is a bitch. If you get caught in that spinning attack, you're as good as dead.
Pretty much. Without your EX skill and the fact you need to keep doing hit and runs the fight goes slow.
Might grind a bit more outside and see if I can synth any accessories.
MechWarrior Online, playing in one of the cReddit companies. If anyone else plays and is looking for some 4-mans to go stomp PUGs, hit up cReddit's mumble (info here http://www.reddit.com/r/credditMWO/c...l/we_are_live/) and hop into any of the public channels. My handle in MWO and mumble is ExocetC3i, if you happen to see me online.
Started Dishonored after thinking of what to play next for days. I understand that its a stealth game, but when I beheaded a guard with one swing I realized I'm going to play through it like a full-on action game. Also, need some help in organizing my backlog. Not sure what order to play stuff in. Games are: Assassins Creed 3, Borderlands 2, Darkness 2, Darksiders 2, Kingdoms of Amalur, FFXIII, Infamous 2, Socom 4, Resistance 3, Soulcalibur 5, SSX, Crysis 2, Skyrim, Dead Island. Don't think I spent more than 7 or 8 dollars on any of these games so at least I didn't go broke building up this backlog.
I loved doing stealth/low chaos for my first playthrough in Dishonored.. Made the second that much more fun.
