Yeah. I was quite impressed. Luckily it only took 10 minutes or so to get it back.

and Final Fantasy 12
started up Soma Bringer again. slowly working my way towards the end of chapter 3. would be enjoying myself even more if that dumb bitch with the spear would cast Meditate on me as it wore out instead of whenever she happened to feel like it.
restarted Vagrant Story, which I never finished. funny thing, considering it's one of my favorite games of all-time. I can't quite remember why I quit. I'm feeling pretty OCD lately when it comes to games though, and there isn't a better game to be OCD about (max stats damascus weapons and armor, anyone?)
speaking of OCD, still working on my max-stats Final Fantasy VIII game. it'll take a while, but at least the game is pretty much tailored to skipping levels.
started up Ratchet & Clank again, I may switch to Sly Cooper, they're both fun but for different reasons. I haven't ever beat either one, so whatever.
I'll finish Persona 4 again someday, I love the game, I just need a break from the goddamn grinding (ironic given some of my above pursuits).
who, Grenada? Generally speaking if you stand still she'll recast it, usually if she hasn't recast it it's because it's still active on herself (and you were probably running around while she cast it). I played as a Gunner with Einsatz & Grenada (since Einsatz was the only one who could manage not to die) and eventually the problem with her is that she never survives any NM encounter long enough to be useful. At least meditate lasts a while. I still have to go back and play that game on harder difficulty modes.
That sounds like a lot of gaming to have on your plate. I have pretty much the same ADD but I limit myself to 1-2 games at a time and then never end up finishing them, lol. Everyone tells me how awesome Vagrant Story is and for whatever reason I can't bring myself to get into it. Hmm...
You should be able to beat sly cooper in 1-2 evenings getting everything except time trials but R&C might take a bit longer to max out all your weapons. Both are great ;o
I'd love to get into Persona 4 as well, which is sitting on my shelf unopened cuz I bought it on sale a few months back, but yea.
Part of me hopes I never beat suikoden tierkreis so I don't have to spend a week deciding what to play next D:
yeah, that's it, Grenada. I never thought about it still being active on her, although I have tried the standing still thing and it doesn't seem to work on a regular basis. I've contented myself with having infinite mp most of the time, and using those cheap MP-refilling items when she's not paying attention to me (I'm using Cadenza as a Soma so I need the MP). even with the random moments where she doesn't recast, it's still worth having her around, although on chapter 3 she dies pretty fast to anything that's not a regular monster, so I can only imagine how bad it gets later.
eh, Vagrant Story isn't for everyone, it's definitely Yasumi Matsuno through and through, which can be both wonderful and tedious. hell I think it's one of the best games ever and even I have a hard time playing it on occasion. but when it's good it's really good. one of the best battle systems ever imo.
haha yeah I'm playing too many games right now. gotta have at least one action game, one RPG, and one portable game going at all times... although it appears I am over my limit by a few. I really don't need to be playing Vagrant Story and FFVIII at the same time considering they're both nitpicky detailed RPGs (well, FFVIII isn't normally but it sure is when you're doing a no-level max stat run).
see now, you just answered your own dilemma: Persona 4 once you finish Suikoden!![]()
I constantly praise the game and yet I've never beat it either. I always got to the end where your fighting the boss guy on a roof or something and I quit. It's been quite a while but I believe it was a roof. I love to OCD on shit, I couldn't be happier when I'm trying to perfect myself. Which is why I think I loved FFXI so much, I'd spend more time farming then most others spent all together on FFXI.
Dude..That shit is off the hook, for shizzle.
heh, if you like to go all OCD on shit, you should love Vagrant Story: GameFAQs: Vagrant Story (PS) Damascus Weapons/Armor FAQ by Wicked Souls
and: GameFAQs: Vagrant Story (PS) Damascus Brandestoc Forging FAQ by Wazat
I want to do those someday... well, maybe not the Brandestoc. I'd probably settle for just one awesome Damascus weapon, and if I really get bored, some armor.
Vagrant Story is one of those rare games that you really could spend 300 hours on and still not completely finish it. It's right up there with Disgaea. Of course neither of them can compare to an MMO.
man, stuff like that turns me off, lol
I get to be such a completionist about RPGs, I always keep 1 of every piece of gear etc and have to have 1 of everything, which is probably precisely why I haven't been able to get very far in Vagrant Story myself. I could def. see myself sinking 300+ hrs into Vagrant Story (or play for close to 300 hours before getting tired of it and beating it before I get to 100% and end up feeling unfulfilled)... maybe if they release it on psn I'll try again DX
And I've been considering persona 4 for my next game but I've also been considering about 10 other games. I seriously think I have some sort of problem.
Still playing Diablo II and just got the courage to go on battlenet. Everyone's pretty nice contrary to all the stuff I heard about hackers and PKers. I got bored with the Barbarian (always used a melee for every RPG) and made a Necro tank that can spam poison dagger. I might have to break down and get a gaming mouse eventually, this 2 button shit is making me waste unecessary mana from fucking up with the controls.
If you mean you were playing single player using the actual game and not connecting to battle.net I'd still recommend you play online. Drops are much better and you can use your character to trade items and other things with the currency you get (gems/runes) while as if you play in single player with no battle.net all the stuff you get there is absolutely useless for later on if you want to trade and stuff. : p
You can always jut make a private game and set a password. I did that once when I was bored, I'd recommend trying to bring a friend though. Makes the game way more enjoyable.
I soloed for a bit online just to get the hang of things and had a 18 Barb and 12 Druid join a game I was in the middle of the next day. Lag was a major issue but not bad enough make me resort to skeletons. If I could get my hands on a Dagger that steals mana, I'd probably be set for a while. Poison Dagger is so broken, that it's not even funny.
I just finished Mother 3, amazing game. I wish there was more to the ending though, I expected something a bit more detailed since that's how the entire game is.
I definitely plan on replaying this again someday, probably going to finally get around to finishing Seiken Densetsu 3. It has been on my backlog for years heh.
FF8
I'm currently playing Red Faction. My 3rd Sandbox game in 2 weeks. I'm kind of getting sick of Sandbox games now.
