Super Ghouls n' Ghosts was my weakness. First game I bought for SNES (bought 3 times total since it got stolen twice). Didn't actually beat it until a few years ago when I got the capcom classics collection for PS2. Took like 20 years to beat the game, and still one of my personal proudest gaming moments.

It has limited game overs from what I looked up, so that'll be a doozy to get muscle memory on. Been playing them on Capcom Classics Reloaded (PSP port of the PS2 release) here. Arcade Ghouls n' Ghosts seems rougher on first trial runs. Can't get to the boss on the first stage without a loss of life, game just loves respawning shit you just killed two seconds ago.

[EDIT] Well, Ghouls is definitely easier than Ghosts. Completed it, and now onto 5-continues-only goodness in Super Ghouls n' Ghosts. Doubt I'll finish that any time soon since I can't brute-force a hard part. Controls feel a tad off as well as floaty also which'll take some time to get used to.

This is such a fun game to play with friends. Even solo, it can be pretty challenging. For $15, this is definitely one of the best buys I got from steam so far. As a word of warning, make sure to install this on your main drive and not a storage drive. Game gets glitchy if you don't do it on your main drive.

Whelp, I know what I'm not playing tonight........Sleeping Dogs.

I have no clue how my PS3 can fuck up its own drive after installing two games it was downloading overnight, but it did.

Will not be fun redownloading 300gb of games on my shitty internet, and I'm not sure how many of my saves survived, since my backup is kinda old, and I only PS+ cloud saved on certain titles.

I loved CIV IV, but don't care for CIV V.

I loved stronghold, had some fun with age of empires.

Anyone got a city-builder-ish game like that?

Not buying the newest Sim City for reasons located in that thread.

Nope, got through PS+, figured why not. Currently redownloading that and Specs Ops for the second time since I've been wanting to play the latter for a couple months now. Problem is, with 150gb bandwidth split between 3 folks, I don't have much room for queueing up more than 5 games a month.

HL1 is pretty bare on story outside if the ending which you could just Youtube. Still a fun FPS if you can stomach the aged visuals.

If I didn't have such a backlog I'd have just said fuck it, since I'm building a new gaming rig this month so I can actually play modern games on that instead. Really cannot wait to try out Alan Wake and Trials Evolution Gold when it's completed.

After finishing up Ys: Origin for the first time I'm gonna take a break and go back to that later for multiple playthroughs.

Right now working on Star Wars: Dark Forces (and will continue on to do entire Jedi Knight series), as well as KOTOR 1+2 and Torchlight. Got so many fantastic star wars games on steam for like $20 because of that sale.

Picked up Psychonauts on the Humble Bundle. Pretty fun. Love how creative the game is and how different the environment is for each person's mind you enter. The only complaint I have is the controls are kinda cruddy for a keyboard/mouse.

I dunno why, but Raz seems so familiar for some reason...

Quite enjoying Spec Ops. Game does a lot with its varied environments, and hearing your guy actually call out enemy locations in a given area ("Behind the piano!") when you tag enemies for your actually-useful AI teammates to shoot is a nice touch. Gameplay is standard 3rd-person fare, but easy to digest so I can enjoy the story/environmental detail.

[EDIT] Well, beat Spec Ops. That mindfuck....

Going through ME3 again with all the DLC (Citadel is my main goal). I haven't played this since finishing vanilla and there are a bunch of new guns I have never even seen before. Which ones are worth looking at? Should probably post this in ME3 thread but I don't feel like bumping it.

I feel like playing a PS2 game but don't have a PS2 at the moment. Can I just download and .iso an load it onto PCSX2? Or does it need to be a disc for the emulator to work?

I got Tropico4 a while back just to fill this "SimCity" need. Its a good game but doesnt have the same "end" as a SimCity game does with long term design. It is a scenario based game for the most part.

As for what I am playing... Just finished Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Was a heck of a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Definitely a lot better than GoW:Ascension was.

just reinstalled skyrim after gettin dawnguard and hearthfire, prolly gonna get dragonborn too. never finished the game in vanilla so figured I'd try it with the new dlc. Just getting to level 10 now so about to start dawnguard quest.
