Guessing you never played MK on Dragon's Dogma.
I can slow the game to a crawl by using Magick Cannon a few times... and I get slowdown sometimes on the Ur-Dragon just by having it use that breath move that causes the big explosion and has raining fireballs and all that jazz.
I think that game is already near its limit.

More down to programming/optimizing laziness, since you can always cheat out some details/effects with the split views, which RE5 did coincidentally.

A shame 3DTVs aren't a standard bulletpoint featre yet on normal priced displays. Resistance 3's fullscreen 'splitscreen' co-op was a cool concept.

I was more referring to games that have co-op online but don't have any splitscreen option. In which case it has nothing to do with technical limitations.

I started with the third one and had no real problem with it. Both it and Yakuza 4 have videos that recap the main events of the previous games, although it can be a lot to take in at once due to a lot of characters and their relationships to one another thrown about.

Game also keeps a mapping of the characters in the story and their current status also, so you can always reference it when you need a reminder of who worked for whom.

Gotcha. I'll just start with 3 when I can then. I've got $9.32 on a target gift card and I can't think of anything to get. They only have Yakuza: Dead Souls though.

Just a heads up regarding 3, it's a slow burn. Takes about 4 hours before things start to pick up.

Playing Remember Me. Actually pretty enjoyable. The fighting is pretty much like Batman Arkham but that isnt really a bad thing.

Just hit Chapter 3 in The Witcher 2. Excellent so far. Started it right after I finished the first one (yeah you read that correctly; I finished that game). Also playing Earthbound on my pspgo emulator.

Yakua: Dead Souls.

Got it a couple weeks back and playing it when I can and I'm enjoying it a lot. Still early on in Akiyama's story, but it's a lot of fun. May check out the other Yakuza games now.

Thoughts on White Knight Chronicles? gohastings.com has that and some other old titles on PS3 for under $5.

WKC2 if you must. Improves on the core gameplay of WKC1, and includes the WKC1 campaign to boot, even though the online servers are dead for both games now.

Story is complete throw-away though, and the combat boils down to rock-paper-scissors.

So I finished FFT 1.3 and now am working on Tales of the Abyss. The only other tales game Ive played was Tales of Destiny 2(Eternia?). They feel very similar which I am not complaining about. The only thing that has bothered me now is the world is much much smaller than Destiny.

Spent ALL day saturday beating PS3 release Sonic Adventures 1 and 2, also finished the final parts of both Ni no Kuni and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen (I still need to do BBI) during the week. My backlog is happy.

Now I have to complete Deux Ex HR. I only played about 6 hours before losing interest.
