So What Are YOU Playing?

Started playing Dragon's Dogma for the first time about a week ago. I've been enjoying it a lot. I ended up getting a couple of my friends to start playing too. I picked Hard and so far it's been pretty tough, but nothing too crazy. I had remembered reading somewhere a while back that you can kill the pawn you start with (Rook, I think?), so I did that almost immediately lol.

Other than that, I noticed DmC is now free for PSN+ members, so I grabbed that. Never got around to playing it before because of better games coming out around the same time. I'll probably try it out tonight.

As much as I want to try DmC, I just got too much shit to play as it is. If anything, I'll just download it and play it whenever.

Due to FFXIV, I have a huge backlog, I'm just now getting back around to playing Tales of Xillia again, mainly focusing on finishing this first, after that I'm not sure, might start up Time and Eternity or finish up my Diablo 3 plat. I still have Persona 4 Golden, One Piece Pirate Warriors 2, Soul Sacrifice, Disgaea D2, Gravity Rush, and Disgaea D2 to finish, no way I'm gonna get all these done by the time my February releases come (Lightning Returns, Tales of Symphonia HD, Ragnarok Odyssey: Ace), then there's the shit in March as well. Oh yeah, also forgot I still need to finish GTAV story at least.

Definitely finish Xillia ASAP so you'll be one of the few who can properly appreciate this.

I just finished playing this, totally worth the time invested. Now I'm getting impatient for Mighty No. 9, though I guess I could play one of the other million MM games.

Just played the fuck out of Bastion. Great story-telling, if simple gameplay. I really enjoyed how they told the story. Logan Cunningham really did a superb job

I hated most of that part with the prison, but I would be lying if that clip and music didn't suddenly get me wanting to play Xenogears. I fucking love the game and wish they remade it with a real 2nd disc.

About a year ago, I went on a nostalgia fueled Megaman binge and blew though 1-10 in a few weeks. Probably the best gaming experience I've had in a while when it comes to old-school gaming. Egoraptor totally hit the nail on the head with his sequelitis videos.

I did try to incorporate the X and Zero series in there too, but stopped after X4 and there's something about the Zero series feels lacking to me compared to the classic and X games.

If you want something to tide you over until Mighty No 9 and don't feel like playing the old MM games, there's always Rokko Chan.

Picked up Pokemon Y last night. Maybe it's because I haven't played during G1, but the game feels kind of "slow" and the menu/UI interaction has quite a bit room for improvement.

Just played an hour of Bioshock Infinite and wish I could play longer. A lot of people in the GoTY thread said either Infinite or TLoU was best. I loved TLoU and wish it didn't have to end. I can see Infinite having the same effect. If the baseball scene is a taste of what's to come I can see myself losing track of time while playing.

Regarding Infinite, I tried playing on Ultra and it seemed to get stutter. I5-3570k 4.2mhz, 8gb 1866 ram, msi twin frozr 770, and using a 50" led 120hz "tru motion" which means it's fake 120hz. I put it on very high and the stutter was mostly gone. Are my specs not good enough for Ultra?
