Quistis is easily the least broken character in the game but that's her one great usage.
Rinoa in Angel Wing status (with Meteor being her weakest attack spell for most milage), Irvine quick shot and Squall doing meltdown then casting aura on Irvine and himself. Make sure Irvine and Squall have Defend command and cast protect on Rinoa for TB and its an easy fight.

...and still avoids cheap wins like using Zell or Selphie.

How can Selphie make it a cheap win? Zell I understand, obviously I didn't abuse jack shit, you can hear me inputting the wrong combos sometimes (80% of the time) lol.

If I remember correctly, if you pay for a sub or remain F2P but spend at least $5 on in-game items, your account is termed "Preferred Player" status, and the quickbars are unlocked for you from that point on.

My brother and I are trying to remember a game for the PS1. Teeny chance it's PS2 but pretty sure it's 1.
I wouldn't call it a racing game, but you're in a car driving vertically but can steer left and right around terrain. It's a military vehicle of some sort, shooting bad guys/vehicles. The biggest thing was that the cutscenes were video clips and I think a woman would talk you through the mission you were about to go on. Your character(s) may have been silhouetted Mystery Science Theater 3000 style at the bottom of the screen.
Potentially buying upgrades in between levels and whatnot.

It's got nothing to do with inputting Zell's commands. You can literally loop booya and punch rush the entire time. It does more damage than lionheart and it's extremely cheap.

Also, what's up with those textures in that Selphie vs Omega video? Is that from the HD version or something? You can get way better textures on an emulators with Pete's OpenGL filters and some trial and error. Seriously, that background looked like mush.

Finished playing Tales of Vesperia and started playing Wind Waker HD.

Vesperia by far had my favorite story of the three tales games I've played(Vesperia, Graces, Xillia), and Yuri may be the coolest protagonist of all time for me. Combat was my least favorite of the three though, just felt slow until the last bit of the game.

Kinda sucks they haven't localized the other ones you'd probably enjoy more as far as gameplay goes, but when it comes to characters and story Vesperia just shits on the others. Abyss has a decent supporting cast but the main character is pretty insufferable (at least for a decent portion of the game), gameplay is very similar to Vesperia, you might find it a little faster if you play as Guy. Out of curiousity what difficulty did you play Vesperia on? I find cranking it up goes a long way to making it more enjoyable. The nice thing is you can adjust it at any time, so if you don't feel like bashing your head against a particularly hard boss you can drop it back to Normal or Easy.

I always play them at the highest difficulty, I'm playing Abyss here and there already but just for a couple hours a week really. I'll probably start playing it more once I finish wind waker HD

Started playing Shadow Hearts II, I beat the first past last year and liked it, it's a shame so few jRPG or RPGs in general use the setting that series has (WWI), I find it quite interesting.
