It's pretty entertaining, I'm a fan of the fact that killing zombies actually serves zero purpose, goes well to encourage only fighting when you have to which gets skipped over alot in those kinds of games.

I tried dayz today and I can't seem to get into it. I'd also like to use a controller, but it seems very difficult to play and more than likely not worth it in the end.
Started up FF9 again and I really don't remember the game being so damned hard. Going to Freya's home town pretty early in the game when the black mages attack it after the hunt festival thing in lindblum and every random encounter is pretty much kicking my ass. Sitting outside Lindblum right now grinding just so I don't wipe after a few encounters and that's just taking all the fun out of the game for me.
You don't remember it being hard because its very easy... its one of the few games you can can do a pretty much blind LLG on and only have a couple of trouble spots. Gizamaluke and Black Waltz #2 are the only things I really remember giving me trouble on my first LLG.
Are you keeping your equipment up to date?
Everyone being able to have a lot of essential/broken abilities like auto-haste, and nullifying everything lol...
Ozma is the only thing that is remotely difficult, and that's only because he's so random.
Getting back into TF2 and starting up Arkham Asylum later on.
Put waaaaay too much time into Toukiden demo. Since so much carries over into the full release in a couple weeks I have just been farming the weapons and trying to upgrade as much as I can. I have high hopes for it. It isn't as Monster Huntery as I wish it was, but it is closer than anything else that gets lumped in (Soul Sacrifice, Ragnarok Odyssey, Gods Eater (which I have also started playing)). I have also been plugging along in OlliOlli. So good. Started a trial for Music Unlimited. Couple that with OlliOlli and good goddamn it is so good.
I was pretty sure I was, but maybe I'll have to check the town again. nvm. I can't get back into town lol
. But yeah, this is literally the first time I'm having problems. The black waltzs were all pretty much a joke and the ice caverns weren't a problem either.
Gained two levels, went back into Gizamaluke, and not having any trouble anymore lol
Just spent the morning playing it, Bow is absolutely ridiculous.
Bow is by far my favorite too. Hoping it is viable for later bosses. Tried online solo and it was much harder. Don't know that there is any benefit to be had soloing it anyway. Dual blades are fun too and importers are saying that spear is a beast. I am sure I will get around to a few different types.
With offline buddies I doubt the game is designed to be played solo unless the mission specifically calls for it.
Thanks for the replies about State of Decay. It's $20 right now so an obvious pass. Maybe if it hits $5 on a sale.
Resident Evil 4 HD coming out 2/27/14 for $20. I've never played it so I definitely plan to grab this when it hits a sale. I played 5 for about 5 minutes and turned it off. Racist zombies...
Got into Arkham Asylum over the week and all I can say is I regret not playing this sooner.
Just wait. City takes what you love from asylum, and somehow makes it better.
That's next on my list after I beat Asylum, and then Origin. Not sure how far I am in Asylum though. All I remember was beating Bane and getting out of the Bat Cave to find that doctor and her medical notes.
You got a ways to go. Iirc bane fight was maybe half way through?
Is it worth playing Asylum first or just skip into City? Backlog is huge and afraid if I play Asylum wont have time for City when something comes along... Why couldn't there be this many games when I was a child and had no life?
