Play asylum, city's story assumes you know what happened in asylum.
You don't need the knowledge to enjoy it, but it helps a lot. And the plot is definitely good enough to grind through it.

Just started GTA IV for pc. Yes I know 6 years late or w/e. Anyways, are the cars supposed to drive like you are sliding on ice permanently? So far this game is not very fun...
yeah the driving takes a while to get used to because all the cars actually have weight and momentum and you need to either slow down for corners or get fucked trying to take them too fast.
i actually really loved the driving mechanics once i got used to how everything works, most days i can drive right down the center of the road, straddling the dividing lines, without clipping any cars.
Once you get familiar with how to make fast turns its really fun to whip through the city as fast as you can. Talkin about it is makin me wanna reinstall it again hah.
I just started playing ac: black flag on pc. Really looking beautiful, and is pretty fun so far.
Also started playing hearthstone today. Me and my fiance play magic so I'm gonna see if she wants to try this out.
Back on Dragon's Crown, finally made an Amazon and I've got to say that she's fun to play.
Been doing some modding for Shadowrun Returns and holy hell is it user-unfriendly. Just adding stuff like custom portraits and vendor items is a pain in the ass. I couldn't imagine making an entire story pack by myself.
Also, I rolled a street Shaman for the hell of it and the wall spells are still bugged. If the dice rolls on maintaining a summon weren't so skewed, (along with the -1 AP penalty) I could live with it but since support and healing are in the mage spell books, it really screws over Shaman with less than 100 karma.
I'm crossing my fingers for Dragonfall to add some much needed accessibility and class balance.
Played some Warhawk after not having touched it in years. Got my ass kicked. Needs to be a cross-platform port to PS4/Vita so I can enjoy it and get my ass handed to me again by players who don't have 6 years of experience.
Spoiler: show
Also went back to my 1yr-old save of Dead Rising 2:OTR. Still very early in the game (mostly dicked about in sandbox mode when I originally picked it up), and Frank just moves too damn slow without pushing or driving something. Just me jump-kicking everything in my way until I reach my objective point when on foot. At least the escort AI isn't entirely braindead, they're able to keep up at a decent running pace when not swarmed.
Perhaps it'll get better when I'm lvl20+ with more weapon combos learned. There's a hint of the game being something special, but I'm not able to reach that point yet.
Just bought the first Muramasa dlc. Time to kill stuff as a cat lady!
the dlc is just 1 extra character. You have three weapons to choose from like the original two characters but each are different fighting styles. The first is you in human form and you fight with claws. your second form is you as a cat and your special attack lets you shoot little blue fire balls. Your third weapon you can only switch to after you've consumed enough souls and it lets you become a big invincible(literally) cat demon for a few seconds.
It's got its own story but it uses the same maps and areas and regular enemies are the same, but the bosses are supposed to be different. the dlc summary also said you'll be able to fight all of Kisuke and monohime's bosses as well.
Instead of forging new weapons you "Train." it basically works the same exact way except instead of getting a new weapon with increased atk you get upgrades like +3atk to your different forms and occasionally you can "Train" to acquire a new abilities like increase health, reduce spirit consumption, etc.
the storyline for the dlc is also short as fuck. Beat it in 2 hours. Which I suppose isn't bad considering I'll get more play out of it by going through the original story mode bosses as well.
eh, unless you really like Muramasa, I wouldn't get the DLC, for reason posted above.
Luckily I really like Muramasa and I plan on buying the rest of the dlc that comes out as well.
I have a question if anyone could answer:
I was going to play through Fallout: New Vegas again but I have yet to actually purchases any of the DLC's, so I was figuring I may as well buy the ultimate edition instead. Are there any registration codes that would prevent me from just buying it used? I know that the price difference is literally $5 now, but I'm a Jew, what can I say?
Decided to dust off the PSP, played Valkyria Chronicles 3 for a bit. Was fun at first, but kinda disappointed with a lot of the changes. Seems they nerfed most of the things that made the game fun for me. Most units feel a lot weaker than they were in 1 or 2, overall :/
Finished Arkham Asylum. Great game but my friend was right about how much of a letdown the final fight was.
Started up in Arkham City and so far so good. Are the side missions "lost forevers" if you don't do them when they come up? Since I went straight to The Joker instead of that first side mission.
I turned on a platform other than PC for the first time in a few years, and I want to finish up a few 360 titles before March 25th. Playing D3 and lacking just the gold pickup achievement, then I'll finish Limbo (arcade platformer I've had on-deck way too long) and then I've got the South Park RPG arriving March 4th. That looks to be a lot of fun. :D
Dead Space 2 (and now 3 I guess?) also high in the queue. I really enjoyed the first one.
I am playing this, or it may be playing me...

Whatever it is, it's terrifying!
Toukiden on Vita. Came out today.
