It runs surprisingly well. I only have the graphics set to medium due to a shitty card and it still looks good. I will say to put the game on a SSD. The load times people were posting about on a normal HDD were atrocious.

Yeah, it'd be going on an SSD for sure.

I have a pretty good graphics card/system, so I'm sure it'd look great.

Question though: Can PC players play online with PS4/3 players?

Moving in together with GF and I'll be having access to an xbox 360, something I've had no experience with other than playing a few games over at friends. What's some old, cheap games I should look into getting? I own a PS3, so I'm looking for mostly xbox exclusives.
Was looking at a gamestop and picked up Gears of War 1 for $2 and Fable 3 for $5 already. If I like GoW1 I'll probably pick up the other 2.
I can get Mass Effect 1 for cheap, but I could also get the trilogy for PS3(which is what I'd rather own it for) but I've already beaten ME2 and 3 and ME1 alone would only cost me $5ish while the trilogy is about 4x that.
I kind of want to play some Halo, played 1&2 on original Xbox, would playing through 3, odst, Reach be worth it, even if I could get it for real cheap if it was just for the campaign?
And she owns Left 4 Dead 1&2 and Dead Rising 1.

For JRPGs, definitely pick up Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, and Infinite Undiscovery, Blue Dragon isn't all that bad either. If anything, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia is a must, it'd be hard for these 2 to let you down, assuming you haven't played them already of course.

I never got to finish Lost Odyssey. My disc 4 was jacked up. I thought it was a little slow at first, but then I really got into it and couldn't put it down. Very fun game.

Going to have to second Tales of Vesperia... not too sure about Lost Odyssey though. I mean, the best part of the game were the dreams and not much else was really all that great.
I kinda feel like watching the story/dream sequences on YouTube would be better than playing the actual game.

As much hype as Lost Odyssey gets I gotta agree, its alright if you really want a traditional JRPG but I can't bring myself to call it a good game. Dragged on faaaaaaar too long, combat was just downright boring outside of boss fights (which, in quite a few cases were actually hard, which is nice at least) and the story and characters range from absolutely unbearable to just... average, with one exception (Jansens a pretty cool guy). Music and skill system are cool, but overall I feel like the game falls short in far too many places.

Tales of Vesperia should definitely be your #1 priority. Infinite Undiscovery caught a lot of flak but it's probably my second favourite RPG on the 360, it has a few shitty characters too but the game as a whole more than makes up for it. I actually enjoyed Blue Dragon more than LO too but its cheesy as all hell and suffers from a similarly "meh" battle system, it doesn't overstay its welcome and was a pretty fun ride (and that boss music will stick with you forever!).

I have a friend who really enjoyed Magna Carta 2 too, I haven't played it myself but we generally share similar opinions when it comes to RPGs, so it's probably worth a look too. I'm gonna go ahead and throw in an honorable mention to Nier too, it's not an exclusive but if you haven't already played it get on that shit!

I can't help it. It's so boring and even when I go through the tutorials I still manage to get beat down.

Overall not too bad, but the HD part feels like a half-lie since everyone but the main/key characters still have shitty textures.

Its not a terrible minigame by any means, but nowhere near fun enough to grind as much as you're expected to...

It's not that it's bad, it's just for the most part automated. And I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or not but I feel like Tidius is carrying the team with Jecht shot. Dunno if I suck or if my initial team is just horrible.

Wakka's weapon is a random 1st place prize in tournaments right? You /could/ get lucky and have it be the first tournament you win, and it doesn't take all that long to start winning tournaments.

You gotta recruit the guy suffering form amnesia in Luca. He comes with invisible shot long before you can get Jecht Shot. Your default center (Jassu or something) is your best passer. Biggs and Wedge are pretty good defenders early game, but you get some good Ronso and Guado tacklers eventually. You can get a way better passer, (female NPC from Besaid?) but that's way late in the game to matter. Stat wise Keepa kind of sucks as a goalie but you don't have any significant upgrade choices for a while. His only advantage is that he gets his goaltending skills pretty early.

This is all from memory, but I'm pretty sure I'm right. If I'm wrong about anything, it might be only Biggs or Wedge being a good tackler while the other is a mediocre center.
