Okay, so I see that it has online co-op but I didn't see any mention of local co-op on the site I was looking at. Any idea if it has it?

Oh I didn't see this, sorry. I haven't played hardly at all, because as much as I want to play it with my friends, I forgot, when I was buying the game, my friends are all cheap bastards that don't want to actually play video games. I don't think it has local co-op, and I'm not sure (doubt) that it will.

Dark Souls. Beat it once, but got invaded 3 times and had people do nothing and die and give up millions of souls, so there was that. Started a new game, but I've been staying in Xbox party chat which prevents co-op/invasions I think, and I'm up to Sen's Fortress and no invasions yet. It's so much easier and more fun now that I (mostly) know what I'm doing.

That's in my backlog and while I would love to start it up I've been hooked on Skyrim lately.

Finally got around to playing the Bioshock series. Beat Bioshock last week, Bioshock 2 on Tuesday, have to run Steam when I get home to finish the download of 3 so I can finally be done with this series.

After that it's either the Batman: Arkham series or Darksouls.

Playing through Borderlands 2 for the first time and hit my first road block; Gluttonous Thresher. I've died four times against it so far as a lv19 Gunzerker. It's been pretty close each time, but I always get laid out in the end. Went looking for a place to acquire a good electric damage weapon (and of course I can't access the one I had put in my safe, cause I can't travel to Sanctuary) so I decided to look into the Slaughterhouse which I passed the first time. Cleared the first round and got an electric damage sniper rifle. Not what I'd prefer to run with, but I'm going to try it again to see what I can do with it.

FFXHD: At BFA, but I forgot how annoying this fight is without Stone/Sleepproof. Time to farm I guess...

EDIT: Or not. Went with my "Get Overdrive filled for every Aeon and send BFA to hell and back" strategy.

EDIT2: Then decided to try FFX-2 HD to see if the game is as bad as people say it is just to see if the game is as bad as people say it is. But can't since the game is digital only and my memory card doesn't have enough space. Dunno why SE decided not to put X-2 on the card or a separate...

Got a new memory card and gave FFX-2 a go. I already see why people don't like it. The game's presentation makes it look like some kind of Charlie's Angels knockoff more than anything. However, the battle system is pretty interesting.

With all the aesthetic problems that X-2 has, the gameplay is pretty damn solid. You get an epic rendition of the ATB system and the goddamn job wheel. I'll admit I didn't like it at first, but it grows on you after a while. It's not the best PS2 era JRPG by any means, but it sure as hell isn't the worst.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, I borrowed a friend's PSP to play Crisis Core. Dat ending man...

Yeah, I love what they did with the ATB system and the job wheel is interesting (Though I think I'd prefer a mix of FF5's job system and FF10's sphere grid), it's just the story makes me feel like I'm playing some kind of Charlie's Angel's parody more than anything else.

Maybe X-2 is to blame for me not wanting to give any game with a female protagonist a chance? Anyhow, I thought it was a ton of fun and I never was able to get 100% on it...

Same here. There's a lot of good stuff in X-2, but the bad kind of overshadows it. The combat, characters, and deeper look into Spira's lore were great. But how the story is presented takes away from the experience. Looking back, X-2 feels a lot like Lightning Returns v1.0 which is probably why I'll never like Lightning Returns. My biggest complaint about it goes with my overall gripe about post PSX era Final Fantasy. No world maps and no towns explore, and while X-2 didn't have this issue, a lot of the newer installments lack any real complexity in combat. With all those issues aside, there were a lot of good ideas that I'd like to see carry over into future Final Fantasy games.

Giving Shadowrun Dragonfall a try after all the bug fixes. So much better than Dead Man's Switch in so many ways. Static party members, open world, more sidequests, deeper story with more customizable guns/spells/cyberware to play around with. I'd like to see a bit more complexity like mana holes, looting, and decking being more relevant in puzzle solving than extra text options, but it's still a vast improvement over the Hairbrained Scheme's first story pack. It also gets a big plus for actually being finished unlike 90% of the user generated stories out there in the steam workshop.

EDIT: Just finished my last homicide. Can't think of any better way to describe a hollow victory.

Beat Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Overall it was a damn good experience. I might go back through it with another class archetype this weekend, maybe a Mage or Adept specialized in unarmed combat and grenades.

Tempted to play X and X-2 again at some point but I haven't touched FFXIV in almost two months.

Been playing the Gradius Collection on my Vita. Can get to the final stage in Gradius 1, yet in Gradius 3 I get my ass kicked in the first level. Also weird how it can be played on a Vita, yet I can't download it. I have to transfer the game over to my vita from my PS3.

Also been trying to get back into GW2 with the new living story, but the game still feels bland.

How does it look on the Vita's screen? I own the UMD(lol) release, and the amount of black and primary colours some levels had didn't agree with the PSP's refresh rate too well, causing a lot of motion blur, which is bad when the enemy bullets are pea-sized.

Bit stupid that a lot of PSP games are still $20-40 on PSN, I'd have pickedup a digital copy for $5.
