Gods i'd love a PC port of DD, type of game thats just asking to have mod support aswell imo but for that i guess we'll just have to pray for the sequal :D
On a similar note, Kingdoms of Amalur was cheap so I bought it. Never played it yet, but it's an open world RPG kinda like Skyrim? Wondering if it's worth putting in time.
Game's easy as heck, especially if you max mage.On a similar note, Kingdoms of Amalur was cheap so I bought it. Never played it yet, but it's an open world RPG kinda like Skyrim? Wondering if it's worth putting in time.
Yet it was one of the more enjoyable experiences I had for sure.
Tried Titanfall last night. By the end of the first match I played, honestly I was bored. All of the bouncing around in the air started to get annoying. I definitely can see why people would like it though. I guess it's just not my cup of tea. Re-installed Battlefield 3, but I can't seem to log into any server. I'd like to give CS:GO a try as well.
Finally finished downloading and installing everything from PSN onto my 750g HD. Sadly all my saved games are gone since my old HD decided to crap out on me as I was backing it up. I may throw in Dragon's Dogma and plow through that.
Combination of what i'll be playing/what should I be playing post;
Okay, just bought a Wii U, mostly for the girlfriend, mostly for Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors. Windwaker came with it and I also picked up Nintendoland, Mariokart 8, and Super Mario 3D World. What other Wii U games are a must have? Ruling out games like Mass Effect and Batman that came out on other consoles. I was wanting to pick up Wonderful 101 mostly because it's a Platinum+ game though I'm afraid it wouldn't keep my attention for long. Both me and my GF aren't in a hurry to get Skyward Sword either, despite her being a huge Zelda fanatic. I was even considering ZombiU because I can get it for $15 and it seems like it's just interesting enough to be worth it, but I'm not sure.
Monster Hunter is another one I'm on the fence about. I bought it for 3DS when it came out but I've only put in about an hour, though I think that might be because I just don't like playing the game much on a small handheld.
Not sure there's much else on the WiiU list.
Unless you like grinding into the oblivion, or you have 2-3 friends locally to play with, MH3U is probably going to be a big letdown for you. I've thrown probably 70-80 hours into it solo and can't really touch the endgame stuff without other people to help me gear out at the first endgame gear tier.
Devil Survivor: Overclocked is solid, as is DS2 but I think a re-release for 3DS is in the works for DS2 at the moment.
Trying to go through some RPG's that came out in the last 5-10 years. Currently playing Eternal Sonata because I found it lying around with the other PS3 games; it's quite fun and the music is really nice. I'm looking at playing Lost Odyssey and Star Ocean: The Last Hope after that. Any other decent RPG's (specifically JRPG's I guess since that what I tend to enjoy) I should play on the PS2/PS3/Xbox360? I've gone through all of the FF's and Tales series as well if that narrows things. Thanks![]()
I'd save Lost Odyssey for last or it will just make all the other RPGs feel like garbage. It's that amazing. =) Blue Dragon? Nier isn't exactly an RPG, but you could give that a look too.
I thought Lost Odyssey was slow at first. But after getting into it I was amazed and hooked. Unfortunately the 4th cd for me wouldn't work and I never finished it. Definitely worth a play through.
Interestingly enough, everyone I have ever talked to about the game quit on the 4th disc anyway... maybe its was just destiny.
Also kinda laughing at it being good enough to blow everything else away when the actual gameplay is so vanilla.
The story-telling is good indeed but that's really not all that makes a game.
So I think I got to the most sadistic part of Metal Gear 2. The hang gliding part. Five gas grenades and couldn't get the wind to go north. Now Ihave to backtrack down 10 flights of stairs and find the armory to restock on them.
EDIT: Then someone told me to equip the cigarettes. Sure enough, it worked...
Just got the Last of Us for PS4. Pretty amazing game.
Just finished Metal Gear 2. Now off to Metal Gear Solid.
Fairy Fencer F.
Having played the neptune games I don't feel completely confused by the game. Fang is one hungry guy.
I wanted to get Fairy Fencer F, but had to skip it since I'm trying to finish Xillia 2 and Re;Birth 1 before Ar no Surge releases, as that's gonna be my main priority when it releases in a few days.
