Honestly, The Last Remnant is very complex and pretty different from many RPGs you've played in the past.
Early game grinding works AGAINST you and not setting up your formations properly is tantamount to suicide. Do not expect to do extremely well on a first playthrough without guides. There's a lot to absorb.
LR got posted again? It's time
Ok ok sold. I'll give it a solid run. Going to a baseball game today though so probably tomorrow!
Yep.
And yeah, TLR is a bit complex. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't one of the main producers the same guy who did a lot of the SaGa games?
It probably explains my unhealthy attachment to the game.
Also seconded on Radiant Historia. Agreed on the Atlus games in terms of not wanting to be overloaded. I do like most of them, but I can't do them in rapid succession most of the time. Even though I have it in my head that 'hey, I'll play through all the portable Persona entries in order'
While we're on TLR. . any suggestions for equipment grinding? Because right now I just threw the Schianova on Rush, for lack of better options.
Yeah I'm still on the first.
Since we're posting TLR music again, I'll post fav of the ones no one but me seems to post D:
Ok that one is awesome too. I just never knew the name of it!
When that and Reversal sound, you know shit just got real.
This is pretty much spot on. The stronger you are, the stronger they are. I still remember the first time my peeps got blasted with Blackout II. If you're going to play it I highly suggest you check out a couple of faqs on how to learn new skills, spells, etc. And how to get them to go off with some regularity. Last Remnant is an extremely entertaining game that is like no other rpg I've ever played.
Alsoooooooooo get the PC version and not the 360 version.

You say "get the PC version" like another version of the game exists.
A friend of mine got Hyrule Warriors the other day, and I got a chance to play it co-op with him through a good chunk of the storyline. I'm not a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors games, but I had a lot of fun playing it. So far, I think Fi is my favorite character, though Ganondorf seemed pretty beastly too after we unlocked him.

Just picked up Sen no Kiseki II (latest game in the Trails in the Sky series), and I'm in really impressed with the improvements from the last game (animations/motion). And the music so far seems pretty awesome. Wish though more then just the first game was in english. I need more people to talk to about the series later games @_@
Spoiler: show
Find a way for me to accelerate my Japanese and I will buy all of these games.
No, no, no. Don't talk about later Sen no Kiseki games or I'll cry![]()
All that random LTR love. Games weird as hell, by all rights I should hate its bad design and story...and yet I put nearly 300h in it...so it clearly hooked me somehow @.@ Strange Magic.
Outfitted my theif in full exotic gear in GW2, now I'm bored again. Kinda want to give FFXIV another shot, but I'm not sure if I have the time/patience.
oh man, TLR. That was a good game. got to the... 3rd disc, i think, got rolled, haven't touched since. i was so mad because i hadnt saved since the beginning of time, fuck that noise. i'll replay again someday. SE released another RPG a while back that i enjoyed, but i never really saw a lot of press on it. gotta go see what the name of it was...
