His other post makes it sound like he already made the mistake of thinking he beat it prematurely!
Yeah, MGR has a lot of great music.
Speaking of music, was I the only one that thought the music for the final boss in MGSW was really out of place? Sounded more like some kinda intro to an anime than a fight with a friggin big assed mech.
Only song I know of associated with that was Rules of Nature, when Raiden cut a friggin MG RAY in half.
MGS PW had a lot of interesting choices that just make me remember the game more. Singing robots and weird music is a part of that.
MGR Final boss music (and DLC boss music) is great, you'll know when you get there. It's not hard to miss and makes an impact. As for me, going through GZ again on PC since I never got a chance to play it properly on PS4.
Not yet. I was waiting for MGS PP and Batman Arkham Knight to come out before I got a PS4, but with my unemployment, that might have to wait.
Anyway gave MGR a shot. Fuck. Blade. Wolf. I really wish there was a button assigned to parry since sometimes all I did with direction/attack was take a lunge into the enemy.
Hahaha, I feel like that's the reaction of nearly everyone I've seen that didn't play the demo before release.
Don't worry, once you get parrying down you'll wonder why you ever felt this way.
Hopefully. Normally I don't have an issue, but sometimes the game does love to have you attack instead of parry. It wouldn't be too bad if Blade Wolf's attacks weren't so unforgiving. That one where he pounces on you then attempts open heart surgery with a chainsaw was always the main killer for me.
At Monsoon now in MGR. Isn't too bad except for that "fuck you can't hit me" where he takes his body apart. After that I pretty much get slaughtered at his 40% and under phase.
Pay attention to which items you're getting in the fight for a clue.
Alternatively, you 'can' hit his head to stop that. (Might as well practice it, you will need to be decent with blade mode soon enough)
I really ought to finish MGR. I stopped after Monsoon.
Yeah, is not a long game. May as well, could probably have it done today if you wanted.
Finished Resident Evil 4 last night. I talked a lot of shit about the game when I first started it, but I wanted to finish it to see what all of the hype was about. After finally getting used to the controls I couldn't put the game down. To me it had the right difficulty, story was on point mostly, and I really enjoyed the music. The only thing I didn't like was some of the voice acting, but not a huge deal. My wife asked if I would get 5, but I remember trying that one on 360 and really, I mean really hating it.
Not sure what to start next. I tried playing Dishonored but I felt like it was Bioshock: Bethesda Edition. Here is a link to my games on Steam. Regarding hours put into games, I have no clue how GTA4 has that many. I have played maybe 30 minutes of it. Other games with hours put in are from getting cards and nothing more. Any suggestions are appreciated! https://steamdb.info/calculator/?pla...07¤cy=us
i herd yall wuz talkin MGR. That game is the shit
Played some Tales of the World Radiant Mythology, Persona 4 Golden, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Disgaea 2.
If you haven't beaten Saints Row: The Third, go ahead and do that. I like Fallout: New Vegas but that might not be every one's kind of game. And if you happen to play The Last Remnant, fill me in on how you feel about it because I own it and I have yet to touch it.
