Quite a few of the commands are "context sensitive" so you can't generally command a unit to heal until the game recognizes that you need to. There's not too many exceptions to this rule so you generally need to plan around that. (Which can be annoying at first, for sure)
I don't know that any of the hard copy strategy guides are good for this game, never looked into them but there's a wealth of information on GFAQs like Ayn said.
TLR music? I'm game!
Haha, that's what I meant earlier when I said you'd definitely need to master Blade Mode soon enough. Hope you enjoyed it! Also, I'd play Wolf's DLC before Sam's. Its the most "limiting" (though it hearkens back to the stealth games more than the main campaign) so I wouldn't want it to be the last thing I played!
Finishing up Ocarina of Time: Master Quest 3D, the well and shadow temple were annoying, I hear the Spirit temple take it to a whole other level. I never played the N64 version past the forest temple so this is all new to me, which is why it's taken over a month lol.
I found TLR guide on amazon for around $10. I have credit to burn so why not. The thing about that battle was, not one time I received the command to heal. And after so many defeats I youtube'd the battle and watched someone get the command to heal. I thought, why can't I do that? Regardless, it does seem like a very fun game and I'm definitely going to keep at it!
Did someone say...
Really? I'll have to look into that.
I thought you meant for Sundown so I didn't fuck up and hit the wrong shields/cut them off, but yeah that instant kill.....
Gotta admit, I thought Armstrong's views about America were pretty accurate, til the "Americans will die/kill for what they believe in/purge the weak" stuff
Well, Armstrong was a big fan of George Sears aka Solidus. They're all cut from the same cloth and the end of the game leads me to believe that Raiden doesn't fully disagree with them (more with their methods than with the overall message) and I could easily see him going down the same path eventually.
Maybe, going to be interesting to see how they handle him in a sequel (if it happens) since he's "awoken".
Also, did they ever explain why he bleeds red in MGR?
'murica.
Seriously.
His blood is still white in the JP version of MGR. However, Doktor DOES explain how the blood is different in one of the codec calls. (You may recall that Naomi explained that the system they used in MGS4 was out of date and he needed dialysis all the time; they use this to justify the color over here in the states, I believe.)
so i just ran into something weird in TLR. Had one of my unions use the command to heal another union, but one of the unions had died, so they just ran over and used a potion on them, and sudddenly everyone was alive 0.o. I had no idea you could even do that.
Apparently there are revive items ;o i dont remember this. But every time i hear loki talk, i fucking hear bhumi from avatar: legend of korra talking. Might be the same VA
Done with JC2. Picking up TLR as well. Forgot I had that even. Don't know what my next vita/ds might be. Still doing freedom wars for now.
Remember what I said about that crazy song from Peace Walker.
Got XCOM enemy unknown/within on a steam sale recently, holy shit I love this game. I remember seeing it's thread here when it came out but thought it was a fps game I can't play, really kicking myself for not even looking into it.
Just finished the first, and apparently only story mission in Ground Zeroes.
I still put around 50 hours into that game.
Got "This War of Mine" and "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" on the Steam sale and it has lived beyond my expectations. Great games for their genres.
