Your signature makes me laugh because of that. But at least you have confidence.
Read: foot is in mouth. You just keep repeating the same thing as if its going to make sense the more you say it. I've read the posts and you are the only one "pointing out" the same tired phrase, what exactly didn't I read correctly?

    Changing the subject:

Since the Bloodstained Kickstarter I've been craving some 2D side scroller/platformer action. Just finishing Aria of Sorrow and going to play Metroid Fusion next. Have a few other GBA games I still want to play as well. Good for goofing off at work.

Finally got a chance to lay my hands on Neptunia V-II as one of the ladyfriends owns it. Didn't get to play much nor would I want to as I don't understand moonrunes but I'm pretty sure I'll be picking it up when it comes stateside.

However, it did remind me to look this up. I heard it playing in the background on one of the pre-release videos and its just as good as I hoped it would be. This series isn't known for its good music or anything but I don't want to let this one slip through the cracks as its the one Nep track that's good enough to add to my collection of awesome vidya music.

EDIT: Also, slightly more on-topic... I'm also playing RB2 since the PC version came out a few days ago. Addicted to Stella's Dungeon and getting more joy out of it than the main game (not to say that there's anything wrong with the main game).

I've seen those on Steam, but never got to try them. What are they like and can they be compared to any other RPG in terms of gameplay for easy reference?

Also still hacking away at Chips Challenge. In the 50s right now. Game files only show around 140-150 levels though.

It's all fun and games until you get to the 8-10hour dungeons, and your stella fails them just a few min before completing. Mind you, these times are with the DLC felis items, without that, those times are an additional 4-6 hours tacked on what I said.

Sadly I don't know what to compare to Neptunia games too, for the most part, they're pretty niche, so don't come in expecting anything super amazing.

Also, speaking of music from niche games, I like this one from Omega Shitet

IMO it is. After awhile, it kinda got to point where I had to force myself to play it, and then my OCD kicking in forcing me to endure going for Plat, which took me a whopping month to get since it was hard for me to play this game for a long period of time. The game on the hardest difficulty gets so retarded later on that everything becomes rng based, even normal encounters become rng based and can actually wipe your whole party out, even if you do a 'surprise attack'. It's mainly ridiculous on bosses though, and they pretty much use attacks with nearly every status aliment possible, and instant death status just happens to be one of the many. If you stack death resistance, then you'll most likely end up getting fucked by the tons of other status aliments.

In short, the game basically comes down to "can you one turn this before the boss rapes you". And the last DLC area boss relies on a character's 20% chance of reviving when dying skill, to even come close to killing it, what a fantastic game.

To avoid confusion, this is gated behind a mechanic called "Order Break" which allows any enemy(even low lvl weak ones that instant death, etc), or boss to break your turn order and repeatedly act back to back before you get to do anything, on top of that, it can use order break multiple times, e.g Boss order breaks > uses its 3 turns > order break again > uses its 3 turns > repeat till you dead. Bosses or enemies can do this at the start of a battle, even with a surprise attack, which is where the rng comes in about this game, order breaks happen at the start of battle if there's a certain amount of enemies in the battle, anything 4 or under leads to order break by all mobs in the battle. Order break will also happen if any enemy health reaches 50%.

The game story is ass and not even remotely interesting, either. Shit, I don't even know what the story is. The only good thing about this game is the music, I actually enjoyed a good amount of it. If it wasn't for the order break system, I'd probably enjoy the battle system more. This game also has a huge barrage of tutorials thrown at you to point where you'll probably forget most shit or end up having to re-read through stuff multiple times as you progress through the game.

The game definitely isn't worth the 60 bucks. Normally I don't hate on these typical niche JRPGs, but this one is ass for sure.

Finished Persona 4. I love that fucking game, one of my favourites. I wish I could play Disco Inferno or w/e the hell they call the upcoming one for the Vita.

Thanks Tobi. I was on the fence about it, especially after I enjoyed FFF so much.

Think I'll avoid it. Backlog's big enough as it is.

I enjoyed RS, it just was annoying that there were characters that were lost to you forever just because you took some extra time exploring and shit. I hate that. And there's no way of knowing it's going to happen beforehand.

One of those nights where I felt like clearing a game I couldn't do when younger. So the MK Trilogy on default settings sounded good. Used the Arcade Kollection since I wanted to check out how the arcade versions stacked up against the SNES ports I played in the heyday.
    Spoiler: show

MK2 can fuck right off though. Had to cheese Kintaro with Kitana because his abuse of mindreading is ludicrous.

Arcade versions sure looked real nice. Was too used to the fuzzy sprites on SNES, but it's all clear looking here. But yeah, feeling good. Contemplating doing the harder tower on UMK3 now to see if its AI gets as bad as MK2.

    ----------
Binding of Isaac has been eating into my sleep schedule on the Vita also. I can't tell if I hate or love the game. Got another Satan to kill before my save file starts showing something different, but he's refused to spawn after the heart my last three clears.

MK Trilogy maybe since I only ever rented that once for the N64. Can't be bothered to check out the rest of the fifth/sixth-gen MK games, as there were a ton of them, and I got Bloodborne to still whittle away at now that the pressure is on again with DS3's eventual announcement.

I don't even know if I'd be good at MK vs. others. I'm just used to playing against cheating AI and basing my play strats around that. Have MK9 for Vita but the online for that was kinda DOA.

Haven't played it myself either. I ended up getting Romancing SaGa instead around the time both games came out.

I'm sorry my friend, you made a huge mistake. RS is one of the most underrated RPG's on the PS2. Funny and great cast of characters, probably the biggest cast rivaling Suikoden, not to mention the recruiting has that sort of feel to it, but with a Star Ocean 3 like action/rpg twist to the battle system plus flashy limit break like skills for all of them. Although I admit it has a much slower feel to the combat than I remember compared to SO3, but then again I am just at the start. I never did complete the non human side, I hear you can get Jack's father's sword if you take that route, which I thought was retarded, and did the opposite.

Valkryia Chronicles: Haven't done much except some scrims. Trying to get all my units ranked up to elites.

Fallout: New Vegas: At the part where I confronted Benny in The Strip. Honestly, the game feels pretty dull.
