It's soccer with cars. It can get really exciting playing with people who don't just ball chase, who can play goal, and who understand the importance of tackling/demolishing. It's a ton of fun and very addicting.
I might have to give it a go. I don't have much longer til I'm done with TPP and TF2 is hard to get into.
Be sure to use a controller for it. I'm still playing Rocket League on and off on PS4, but I wish the devs would optimize the bloody game on so it isn't constantly wavering between 40-60fps and setting the fans on maximum overdrive.
I've been trudging away at La-Mulana Ex on Vita the past month. Solid port, and the artwork holds up well enough on the OLED screen. Didn't take me long to get back to where I was with my progress on the PC release, but the past 8 hours of gameplay is just banging my head against the wall trying everything to get a puzzle solved or to stumble across something.
This game still does weird things to me. A couple bullshit puzzles aside, it's probably going to earn itself a firm top-10 placement in my favourite video games list. It is such a god damn dense game.
Rocket League is fucking awesome. I play all the time.
Add me on steam and we can play sometime. Have a large TS as well with channel we can use voice activation.
So Borderlands is now my crack. I stumbled into The Underdome a few days ago. I'm only 2/3. Must. Beat. Underdome.
Seriously, I'm borderline mad at myself for giving up on this game so quick the first go round.
Underdome had to be the most boring thing I ever did in Borderlands 1. Only reason I got that DLC was for the extra storage. Knoxx DLC had to be the highlight of that whole game for me, minus the excessive amount of backtracking due to no quick-travel within that region. I ought to get back to Borderlands 2 some day though.
While I know it's just waves of enemies I still find it fun and challenging. It's one of those things where I want to beat it no matter what. I've come to realize I'm pretty terrible at games anymore (I don't play online games to save myself embarrassment) so for me this type of thing is pretty fun.
Been playing Inquisition but for some reason my PS4 didn't install the expansions. So I save my progress to the cloud and delete everything then reinstall. Load up my saves and it's holding 4 of them. All three of them were from 3 hours inSo not happy right now.
Bought a 3DS for a vacation cause was gonna drive down to California, bought Fire Emblem: Awakening, Ocarina of Time and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.
Been playing the shit out of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I have never played a Monster Hunter game before and I basically think it's a better Dragon's Dogma than Dragon's Dogma, for a fucking handheld game anyways. 40+ hours in and I'm not even done with all the single player quests. I haven't even touched Guild Quests/online play yet. There is so much shit to do in this game and just when I thought they were done introducing new monsters to hunt they sent me on a quest to fight a T-Rex with stubs for arms that placed down explosive goo on the ground. Fucking fantastic game, even if I'm a little late to the bandwagon.
Barely even touched Fire Emblem or Ocarina of Time due to how amazing Monster Hunter is, though what I played of Fire Emblem was fun (also never played any in that series, stopped handheld gaming right as those were taking off). I enjoy the new graphics on OoT.
>no pawns
>no climbing
>no high sorceries
>no WIND PUSHING ME
>no story
>no Everfall
>better Dragon's Dogma
Explain yourself.
I thought I'd seen it all, then I seen people saying MH4U is better than Dragon's Dogma at doing what it does?
I need a few hours away from the internet.
>No cheesing through parts of the game because Chari did you a solid and let you recruit his broken pawn.>no pawns
>no climbing
>no high sorceries
>no WIND PUSHING ME
>no story
>no Everfall
>better Dragon's Dogma
lol
Finally getting around to playing catch up on a ton of games I've bought over the past year or so since SE is being retarded and can't figure out how to fix my FF11 account.
Finished A Link Between Worlds and really enjoyed it. I started on Hero Mode and it is quite brutal for a Zelda game. >.> Starting enemies doing 2 hearts of damage when you have 3 is lol.
As somebody who's easily put in over 500 hours in Dragon's Dogma, I stand by what I said, which btw was: it's better at doing things Dragon's Dogma did for a handheld game.
I could also counter-point everything Chari said but instead I'll be slaying an Elder Dragon bigger than any monster in Dragon's Dogma, while in the comfort of my bed.
