I only played 1 and 2, the first one felt rough in many ways but I had a lot of fun with 2 loved the setting especially. I heard black flag is decent too but I always feel wary of any game with ship mechanics

This is the best possible decision you can make.

I tried playing AC I and just couldn't do it.

Then I randomly picked up AC II a year or two later and loved it. II is so much freaking better than I it's ridiculous.

I ended up getting rid of my copy of III; something felt off about it. I never even got to the point where you play as the other guy.

Mega Man Legends 1 came out on PSN this week so I nabbed it. Two play sessions later I beat the poor thing. I did not remember that game being as dreadfully short as it ended up being. Hopefully the wait for Legends 2 to get its digital release isn't too far off.

Does Borderlands 2 pick up much btw? I've played a few hours on Vita of what I could stomach of that terrible port, but I could move my save over to the PS3 copy I got from PS+ a year ago. That or wait on a sale on Handsome Collection for PS4 I suppose since I could 3 player splitscreen co-op that version.

Been playing Armello last couple of days. It's like a furry Game of Thrones, Civilization board game. And despite how fucking weird that sounds, it's actually a ton of fun and def. worth checking out if you're into turn-based strategy stuff.

I played Starbound for a while too. I liked Terraria more, even though you're stuck on the one planet. Maybe a mix of the two would be better? What's funny is I stopped playing Starbound to play Borderlands again. XD

Now to main question... Every day, I go do a quick level or two of Bloons Monkey City (Tower Defense), play/text HeroClix with a friend, and work on a tabletop RPG using video game characters. On Sundays, it's Pathfinder Adventure Card Game with friends in a locked up pizza shop. Also, sloooowly developing the ground work for an RPG I'll eventually try to get developed.

It does pick up, yes. It does help explain the ending to the first BL and a few other things, though the pacing can be pretty damn slow.

When I think about BL2, I begin to wonder if there's such thing as too much exposition and story in a game. Wasn't too bad in BL2, but I couldn't stomach the prequel.

Finally getting around to playing Hyrule Warriors and it feels like I've spent hundreds of hours in it in the past week or so lol. Never played a Dynasty Warriors game before but really enjoying this, probably one of my favorite Zelda games now.

Hell yeah. Friend and I have put in nearly like 200 hours into this bitch and there's still more. Along with a couple new characters coming out soon (with potentially a new map) there's a lot of shit to do. Definitely need more games like this, also the music is mad hype.
