When I think about BL2, I begin to wonder if there's such thing as too much exposition and story in a game. Wasn't too bad in BL2, but I couldn't stomach the prequel.

I don't think enough time passed from BL2 to TPS. With all of the add-ons, it was 1.5 years, whereas 1 to 2 was about three. There is some good information about the universe in TPS though.

Total Biscuit brought up some good points in his WTF Is video of the pre-sequel. The first BL was good because it was action > story. It's like if something like Diablo had a deep story with layers of exposition.

Aside from that, I didn't like the lack of innovation either. Slag was okay, but became annoying when it went from an advantage to a full on necessity. The nerfed drop rates were horrendous, and I'm kind of tired of the "beat the game X times" format mixed with DLC. I'd rather beat the game once with the DLC scaled to your current t level.

Slag lasts 3x longer in UVHM though, it's really not that bad and I like the fact that you have to be constantly switching weapons.

Started playing Tales of Vesperia for ps3 with the fan translation. Played pretty much all the tales game before this one including TOD2 and rebirth. Loving is so far but I have a question. What is with Yuri glowing/sparkling after every battle? Tried looking it up and could not find what it means, is that him being invulnerable to battles or something?

so after playing The Last of us I purchased the uncharted collection last week and god i am haveing a blast. allready on the 3. part. Fucking godsend i missed the PS3 era so many games to play on PS4. Cant wait for uncharted 4 any other games that are as fantastic as uncharted and Tlou that i missed?

I couldn't get into Uncharted 1, heard 2 was amazing, heard 3 is good, but I have that on PSN.

Is 2 worth skipping over just for 3, or?

I'd say play 2 or 3, but not both. I enjoyed 2 a lot coming off from 1 (it's definitely a step up), but in 3 hardly anything had changed even from a production/CS perspective so I wasn't that into it.

Or maybe like Assassin's Creed or Batman games the more of them you play the less you generally care?

Going through Borderlands 2 and everything is good except one thing. I get this crazy camera shaking. Like, I'll be standing still, mouse is still, etc and the camera is wildly shaking. Any ideas on how to fix this?

They are great games, but they are National Treasure. One is enough across all media.

edit: for BL2, is it a specific gun? Try turning off the camera sway.

No certain gun. Happens with any I've used so far and I'm level 8. I'm just getting off of the glacier. Maybe the starting areas has something to do with it?

I think that's an effect of Jack's drill drilling to the vault? Don't quote me on that.

All three Uncharted's are awesome. Play them all. But imo 2 > 3 > 1.

now that i finished all 3 i would rather say 3 > 2 > 1. Altough 2 and 3 could be on the same pedestal. I am hooked up and cant wait for 4 ¬.¬ where is my fix!!! played them all in a matter of 4-5 days or so (when i had free time) and it was fucking amazing.

People that are dissapointed aproach the Uncharted series too much from a games angle, try appreciating those for what they are: fantastic interactiv movies with game elements!

I'm about 11 hours into Borderlands 2 and something about it just feels off. I'm honestly just not having fun with it and the long winded corny jokes are annoying. I just installed Deadly Premonition with some graphics mods. I think I'm going to fart around with that tonight.

2nd ever UFO encounter in XCOM Long War was a large, stupidly threw 2 interceptors at it cause I thought it was scripted or something, as I'm barely even into the campaign. That failed, it ends up landing anyways, go to take care of it. First room I open up contains not 1, not 2, but 6 fucking Outsiders.

I managed to take out 2 before they started killing my guys, and then 4 Chryssalids came around the corner and massacred me. I was hearing Floater noises in the distance too.

Thankfully I saved before I entered that mission, cause uh, fuck that.

Now that I'm finished with MGSV (for now, at least. Still at 81%.), I figured I'd work on my back log. I started with continuing the Bioshock series.

I beat 1 a couple of years ago and immediately bought the next 2 games on sale. Beat 2 after MGSV, and was reminded of why I loved the first. I especially liked the atmosphere. Then I got to Infinite. I don't know if it was the high ratings the game received causing me to build the game up in my head, but I'm kind of disappointed. The atmosphere I liked so much is gone, and the combat feels like it's been CoD/Halo'd. The story is ok so far, but nothing too crazy. I'm almost done and will probably beat it tonight, but I'm not sure I'll go back to it in her future.

I don't know. Did anyone else here feel that way about Infinite?
