Got a new gaming laptop, so I decided to try out FF12 IZJS and O.M.G. Shit is way better then original and I am fucking in love with L1 speeding battle one hundredfold. Making me really want Square to fucking finally release PS4 remastered version.

Grim Dawn early release. Still some bugs, but overall a perfect combo of Titan Quest and Diablo2, which are my two favorite loot pinata games. If you like either of those or dungeon crawlers in general I strongly suggest checking it out - with a tiny dev team they've managed to make a great and highly involved game, but it's a well-trodden path since they are the same guys who worked on Titan Quest. If you didn't like Diablo3 because the story and graphics weren't dark/gritty enough, this one goes back to the roots. There's even light radius modifiers on gear!

Picked up GTA San Andreas on PS4. Never got to play this one. I kinda missed the more trimmed down PS2 era GTA.

I'm still waiting for my copy since Amazon sold out of the CE or something along those lines. Won't get it until Wednesday.

Oh well. Gives me time to work on Trails in the Sky SC.

EDIT: First chapter done in SC. But I forgot to do a bracer mission due to term length and I'm kicking myself for that. Forgot how easy it is to miss those.

Finished Fallout with the Railroad and Minutemen endings. I'm Fallouted. Busted open the Uncharted Remaster for PS4. About halfway through the first one. I love this series. It's one of the few games my wife will sit and watch from start to finish because she loves the characters and plot so much.

I know some immediate suggestions are gonna be Witcher3, Fallout4, and MGS5 but just not really feeling it for any of those. I was giving some thought to Dying Light if anyone has any feedback on that or some other slightly older game. Or just wait for some big release this year like FF15.

Thanks for posting. I haven't looked into modding the ps2 emulator games so I hate to be a bother to ask, but where do I put this?

Sorry had missed this when you posted. It might depend on what version of PCSX2 you're using (I'm using 1.3.1), but there should be a shader folder in it. Put the file in there along with the gsDX.fx file that should already be there. Just yesterday though I found that if you launch PCSX2 with the "-nogui" line it will allow reshade/sweetfx to work, so I've been running that instead since it offers more options like Ambient Occlusion and whatnot.



Related, if no one has ever seen the program ICE before (http://scottrice.github.io/Ice/), it's a pretty cool program to add emulated games to Steam, which I was trying out to give FFXII a spin with the Steam Controller. Only have FFXII included atm since it was the only ISO/ROM on my laptop, but I'll probably throw others in there.

I've only got 1.0.0 so I'll update. I need to wipe the drive it's on anyways so good timing. Seriously, that screenshot looks amazing. I'll probably get that program to add my .iso games as well because I usually forget I have them. I desperately need to clean up my Steam games list and actually make sections to get rid of the garbage games.

Fucking it with for a bit I realized that Ambient Occlusion doesn't actually work in PCSX2 since <insert long winded explanation>. Oh well, still looks really nice with some bloom/HDR/etc added in.

Reshade is a beautiful thing. Can make older games look decidedly modern, which is great for replaying older stuff like on emulators. Or just for performing simple tweaks to reduce saturation or add some AA (or going full retardo in something like Fallout 4)
