Started Chapter 4 on Trails in the Sky SC and I hate myself for putting this game off for so long. Story is damn good and so is the music. Already found my favorite track:

Decided I wanted to replay Mass Effect 3, and to keep in line with my modding kick since Fallout 4 came out...

I dug around on the nexus and various Mass Effect modding sites.

It's incredibly time consuming (the textures took roughly 8 hours), I had just set it to run all the mod installs while I was out and about yesterday.

Also installed a mod for an alternate ending without the starchild bullshit, so that will be something to look forward to.

it's the default battle music in the final chapter, there are plenty of other good songs in that game too...

Started up Rocket League for the first time last night. Literally the most fun I've ever had playing a video game (with 2 friends of course). I'm not into racing/car games, nor soccer, but when they are combined it creates something magical.

Mentioned it a few posts back but fucking with it further since I added some more games and thought I'd share.

http://scottrice.github.io/Ice/ is a program for adding emulators and specific games from said emulator to your Steam library. The website explains it all pretty well, but I went a step further since not every game in PCSX2 is setup/run the same way. Gonna spoiler the rest since there's a decent amount of images.

So after setting up and running ICE, I end up with the games in my Steam library.



Bringing up properties for one of the PS2 games gives me this information.



Most of that is automatically done by ICE, except I add an extra line in (bolded below).

"C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.4.0\pcsx2.exe" "C:\ROMs\PS2\Wild Arms 3 NTSC PS2.ISO" --cfgpath="C:\ROMs\PS2\WA3 Config" --nogui

This will make the program use whatever .ini I have in the folder in question, which I copy for each game from the default storage folder for the settings (in my case D:\<user>\Documents\PCSX2), and then configure from there. Note that to tweak them the --nogui line has to be removed, otherwise you can't access any settings or menus.

So the folder for my PS2 isos ends up looking like this



So now each PS2 game will automatically load what configs I have associated with it, like having the Right Stick flipped for FF XII or some of the HW hacks that Wild Arms 3 requires.

And beat. Definitely recommend to any old school JRPG fan.

And off to Trails of Cold Steel, which I've had for 2-3 weeks now and haven't picked up.

Been playing Remember Me on the PS3. The game is visually beautiful. It has style and good ideas, but the execution is meh. The writing is horrible most of the characters are bland and the voice acting is bad. Maybe I should've played it in french...

Visually the game was incredible, and is honestly probably worth it just for that.
