Yeah, visuals and from what I remember the OST are pretty nice, was enough for me to want to complete the game

I got stuck fairly early in the PC release. Always freezes or crashes. Game seemed neat though.
It's a couple good ideas and solid world-building masked behind really tedious, mediocre gameplay. The memory remixes were definitely my favorite part, so I'm glad to see that seed of an idea basically expanded on into a full game with their next release.
Had a Skyrim itch, decided I didn't want to spend 200 hours of my life on it again without playing some other new games first, started playing Kingdoms of Amalur instead since it was in my Steam backlog. Great game if only for the battle system which is smooth, fun and makes you feel like a badass. Best part of the game hands-down (unlike in Skyrim where battle was the worst aspect, sooo potato). The NPCs and world are kind of flat compared to Elder Scrolls but the overarching story is pretty interesting, and the fact the story's written by RA Salvatore always had my curiosity since I do like the D&D books he wrote.
I'm sure there are a lot of people who just passed this one over since it came out around the same time Skyrim did but if you're looking to play another long involved fantasy RPG with strong elements of exploration and choice-making, do give this one a try. It goes on Steam sale often enough.
Yo, why didn't anyone tell me Until Dawn was so damn good? Played the shit out of it yesterday. Think I'll do the same today. I wouldn't recommend this game tho for $59.99... $25 on the other hand >.>
I gave up on Van Helsing. Got the final cut for free and they nerfed the shit out of everything. Skills, gear, and even stat points. I've never felt so weak in an ARPG. No wonder you can toggle the difficulty at any time.
Started Grim Dawn today and after an hour, I'm already in love. It's pretty much based on Titan Quest, but on a grander scale. I can't believe 8 people put in this much effort.
I wound up breaking my early access rule, but it was worth it. Probably the best ARPG on the market.

Finally picked up Dark Souls again. Made it past the ram fucker when I realized all you had to do was walk him into the fire... I walked into some castle looking place, fought a huge knight, and now I'm currently stuck trying to get past this evil wizard bro who won't stop raining spells on me![]()
Been getting into Legends of Cold Steel slowly. At the first field test.
Are the enemies really beefed up when you first encounter them? They seem to do quite a bit of damage.
Finally got around to trying Project X Zone, liking it so far, mainly due to the chars. The game has more depth than I thought it did, in a way, with the timing of combos, launch height, and all that stuff. I never played Namco X Capcom, so may be another reason why I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I'm gonna start playing Zestiria again, finally finish it before all the new shit start releasing in a few weeks, which reminds me, I need to eventually start playing Hearts R again as I barely touched it.
Has anyone tried Anno 2205 yet? Looking for something in the Civilization IV/Settler's 7 mold.
Played a romhack of Super Metroid to completion which rotated the entire map 90 degrees. A few bugs of the hack aside, it was a rather interesting run through the game. Competent walljumping and infinite bomb jump skills required though.
Also somehow have 20 hours logged onto my EDF4.1 save despite not having passed the halfway mark of the campaign. I keep getting caught up on doing earlier missions online on higher difficulties across the four classes just because that shit is just so much more fun with three others.
Such a laidback online community, have had multiple hour long sessions with complete strangers and we'd be fucking about with the canned messages or singing the songs.
Finished Life is Strange last night. Feels were on a roller coaster. Thoroughly enjoyed it even with the ending... although near the end I did have a bug with terrible lip syncing... quite funny actually.
Downloading Resident Evil 6 right now. I feel like Brill is somewhere right now angry and he doesn't really know exactly why, but I know it's because RE6 will be played soon!
The best description I heard of RE6 is Mainstream Video Games : The Video Game
Dark Cloud 2 is on sale on PSN... definitely worth grabbing, it's what I'm obsessed with at the moment.
Resident Evil 6 is a pretty good video game. The action is better than all the other RE games and unless they go back to their survival horror roots (they won't, wake up you fucks) they need to keep going down that path with the series.
No, no it's fucking not. RE6 is just dull as fuck. RE5 was great and just about the perfect 'modern' balance of action and horror. RE6 is sterilized shit: it doesn't reek as bad as a hot, fresh shit, but it's still very blatantly shit. I just did (or attempted to, at least) a back to back playthrough of 5 and 6 a couple months ago, couldn't be bothered to continue after about 4 hours into 6, it was just atrocious.
Revelations 2 had me excited when I played episode 1 on PSN, but the local-only co-op killed the desire.
