Got back into Path of Exile (great ARPG like D2) pretty hard in the last few weeks. Their next expansion and new ladder drops on 9/2 right before Labor Day weekend; amped.

I hate Path of Exile less for the fact that I don't like Diablo clones and more for the fact that I get it confused with Pillars of Eternity and that caused me not to play it for nearly a year.
I just need to beat the final area and I'm done w/ FF12. I think I have a few summons to acquire and the last hunt, the fucking guy that takes about 4 hours to beat. I have the 'best' equipment for my Ashe, Basch, and Vaan. They p.much destroy everything.
GG, btw. Would def recommend once they release the hd ver. God knows I woulda plat this fucking thing.
Gave WoW a shot for the first time and while not bad, I doubt I'll upgrade since I'm not a huge fan of quest grinding MMOs. Maybe I'm too old fashioned?
Just finished Brothers: A Tale of two sons that's been in my steam backlog for like 2 years.
Why the fuck didn't I play this game sooner.
After going through Games-for-Windows workaround hell to get it working, Bulletstorm is pretty much exactly what I needed: An FPS that's dumb and fully aware of it.
Game knows how to make me smirk with its silly banter between your dude and Ishi while trying to juggle enemies in the air and kick explosives near 'em.
Been playing through Tomb Raider the one that came out 3 yrs ago. Loving it, even though I'm killing poor Lara a lot. Thanks a bunch for the recommendation guys. I really wanted to play The Bunker cause I heard it was good but I recently sold my PS4 for the pro upgrade :/
Tried Path of Exile. Not really my cup of tea.
It's really hard to find a decent online RPG it feels like.
Picked up Corpse Party on the 3DS for Halloween.
Not an hour and a half in and already got a bad end for the first chapter.
Finally went and installed Kholat. Damn, the atmosphere is amazing and definitely makes you feel uneasy, I already got scared some.
Also, it seems I'm pretty bad with compass and map
Gave BDO a shot. Not sure if it's really for me or not.
ICEY
Saw the game scroll by on Steam earlier today and gave it a shot, super recommended if you've got an action game itch to satisfy.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. A fantastic little tactical stealth RTS-lite(? I don't really know what else to call it. I hear people comparing it to Commandos but I've never played that) that came out of nowhere. $36 on Steam right now, has a demo out to try it. Go fucking play it.
Also, Let It Die is surprisingly great for a free game. Try it if you have a PS4.
DuckTales Remastered, this horrendous final climb to escape!

It's Commandos with ninjas. There's not really any other proper explanation since it's a very niche category really only filled by these games.
It's really good, and gets major bonus points for having a fantastic control scheme for gamepads, which is not something one would expect for these kind of games.
I mean fantastic in the sense that games like that generally don't even have controller support, yet alone one that's actually usable. The camera controls are most definitely awful on a controller, but everything else is good.
Yeah, but that one thing takes it from "would almost certainly use it over M+K" to "not even a consideration." All they would even really need to fix it to at least be usable for me would be to snap back to the character if they're moving while off-screen.
Anyone know some way that still works to cheese Echoes in BloodBorne?
If you can do the forest skip I think you can kill a few of the dogs in cages on the way back (shortcut from forest through that poison pit) and just run around the room with the first wolfman in it.
Been a while though, not sure if it still works but that was basically the only glitch that might work. Item dupe was probably killed by now.
