Got Dying Light on sale. Game is pretty punishing. Everything kills in like 2-3 hits on hard and has too much health. Think I need to tone it down to normal if I can. Masochistic health padding is not my idea of difficulty. Fun open worldy sort of game though.

I usually get bored with open world games fast but I actually enjoyed and completed this one. Was disappointed with dlc though, fun to jump around city was replaced with open plains mostly

Gave WoW a shot for the first time and while not bad, I doubt I'll upgrade since I'm not a huge fan of quest grinding MMOs. Maybe I'm too old fashioned?

Unless you played and liked UO, the entire MMO market pretty much came from EQ which was 100% quest grinding.

They added Chocobo World to it which wasn't available outside Japan before, I think? But that might be the only real thing I can think of being added to FF8 besides achievements.

Chocobo World is basically a tamagotchi type thing, depending on how you feel about that, may or may not be something you'd be interested in lol. It does get you a lot of really nice things in the main game though if you invest a bunch of time into it.

Got Witcher 3 complete on sale for $30 last night, gonna dive in tonight. I was highly amused that all the shared clips on the listing on the XBL marketplace were sex scenes.

Picked up Shantae half genie hero and loved it. Gonna save hero completion for later but saw that Pirate's Curse was half on through steam. Probably going to go through the Shantae catalogue reverse order at this rate. Loving the more metroidvania style of Pirate's Curse but I absolutely hate the fact that the non-gameplay visuals constantly clash with the gameplay visuals.

Its not a hate thing but more of an annoyance thing.

Tried Dark Souls 3 for about an hour since I was trying to find a good hack n slash/ARPG then promptly refunded it about an hour in. Definitely not for me.
