I started X-2 and stopped like 2 hours into it when I realized I missed some arbitrary item after one of the opening CSes that I would have needed for 100%. I just didn't feel like firing it back up right away then got into FFXI and forgot about most of my PS2 games for a while.
I have a bunch of games like that which I just never finished once I started into FFXI.
FFX-2
KH2
MGS3
Jade Cocoon 2
.hack 3 & 4
That's just for the PS2. The Gamecube list is even worse.
My nephew plays my Gamecube a lot and always asks me for help on these games I hardly ever played.
I'm just using a gameshark for 1 kill=unlock skill(s) to make it go faster >_>
been spamming this thread lately, but I'm playing the bro-in-law's Dissidia and this shits dope (yes i know this is old news for a lot of people here). Might have to trade in my ds for a psp, maybe I can find a psp2000 or something :D
Tried playing some resistance 2 today for the continuous effort of getting the platinum trophy. I'm 900k/1mil of exp in competitive mode for one of the silver trophies, but i screwed myself into thinking I got the gold competitive kill count trophy. Apparantly its not 1000 kills for the trophy its 10-goddamn-thousand kills. Which means I can get the trophy in 10 days if i kill 1000 people a day :\ It's gonna be tough but I'm going to see how many kills i can get tonight and use that as a guide....
I've got Batman and Uncharted coming for PS3 tomorrow. Which should I play first?
Sometimes I just don't know. They have flight simulators and stuff... but why, just, what.
Who would aspire to be a forklift driver to the point of playing a simulator of it instead of going to Walmart and applying for the job? The fuck.
Anyway, as typical as it is with me and RPGs, I got to disc four of Lost Odyssey and have pretty much stopped playing it after getting the stone to make the Nautilus able to go through the hyper-currents. Don't know what it is about the end of games, and I haven't even spoiled LO for myself with the exception of a seemingly small detail, but I just lose all desire to play them. I'm thinking about trying to finish it up this weekend, though. Maybe because I was grinding for skills... Fucking grinding.
Conquer online by TQ is what I am playing right now. I am in crystal server since it has loads of server and I am playing as Archer
got Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia in my DS right now. first time anything has been in my DS other than my Cyclo, since I bought it over a year ago. but I had an urge for OoE, the best of the DS Castlevanias in my opinion.
shit is awesome, although somewhat insane, on hard mode. stuff like flying skeletons that knock off a third of your life filling every other room, and flying medusa heads that will kill you in one hit in the spike/magnes room in Tymeo Mountains. brutal. but satisfying.
imo hard mode is really the only way to play the Castlevania games. it turns PoR from a black sheep into one of the best of the series. so much fun.
Don't know what to play now really. Just finished up Tales of Vesperia, havn't had a long rpg playthrough in a while (75 hours). And I liked it very much, surprised it all fit on one dvd. Need to take an rpg break and play some platformer/adventure or something. Banjo and Kazooie 1 and 2 come to mind. Havn't played 1 in a while and never played 2.
Finishing up my first runthrough of Shadow Complex tonight. Got to level 20 just after getting the last item. That was useful. lol I'll play other stuff for a bit and then go try for a minimalist or insurgent run.
Picked up Professor Layton 2 and Gamefly just sent me The World Ends With You so I'll rotate those with FF4DS for PAX this weekend.
anyone else play Cave Story? it's so adorable yet the gameplay has a lot more meat to it than you'd expect. definitely among the best freeware games ever (though it's been a while since I've played Eternal Daughter, which is another contender). just downloaded it for another run-through (since I never beat it). now that I mention it, I think I'll download Eternal Daughter, too!
still playing OoE hard mode, did I forget to mention that every enemy automatically does 60 extra base damage on hard, that you can't reduce via defense or any other method? oh yeah. well they do. when your max hp is 200, that's a bitch.
That WET demo is hot
I just bought Bioshock (I know lol lateness) but I am playing that. Can't wait for the second now. It is very fun.
Except I think I glitched it, I am saving the little sisters instead of sacrificing them, and in Neptunes Bounty level it says I have only rescued 2 of the 3 little sisters but I already received the teddy bear prize and no more little sisters are showing up. I killed all three Big Daddy's fresh and let them respawn and when they pound on the wall nothing happens. Really irritating, anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
