NFS: Shift

Both amazing games. NHL10 is now my favorite sports game of all time,the fights make me giggle.Also the fact that if you lose a fight you usually have a big ole' shiner for a few games. NFS: Shift reminds me of Gran Turismo 4, its awesome but it's not quite perfect yet.

Phantasy Star Portable and Gundam vs Gundam for the most part, I don't understand moonspeak so GvG is mostly me just trying to figure shit out at this point.

Been playing Disgaea3, really not very impressed with it.

I finally got out of that fucking bomb shelter in Innocent Sin, but alas, I'm stuck again and don't feel like playing it <_<

Also playing Dissidia a bit, but shit is too addicting and I'd literally spend half of my free day playing that crap without eating or anything, so I'm trying to not play it anymore >.>

Also playing heart gold on the side, a little bit at a time, until it freezes after I haven't saved in forever.

NHL 10 is going to be taking up any gaming time I have for the forseeable future, with Madden perhaps getting a look here and there.

Trying to get into Disagea 3 and the World Ends With You but I can't really get into either of them so far.

World Ends With You takes awhile to get into, about 2 hours for me. Battle system is fun as hell once you get further into the game and got a good grasp at dealing with both fighters at once.

At any rate, beat Uncharted 1, and fucking pumped for #2. Just hope it's long as I beat the first in two sittings. >.>
(just need to collect a few more treasures and do my Crunching difficulty run for a Platinum trophy before I call that game done)

Started to really warm up to Far Cry 2. Took me about four hours to get into, and once I got going and got some better weapons up, I'm enjoying it lots. The game is very aesthetically pleasing, which I don't see much in games these days. If only they gave the players a means of some fucking fast-travel though. Hate when I get stuck on a road in the middle of nowhere with no vehicle, takes ages to run to the next intersection to find one.

Started Persona 4 yesterday, now I'm nearly done with the month of April. Is it normal that by the time I save Yukiko, I'll have only entered the tv world 3 times? It doesn't seem like there are a lot of days you can just grind/farm/whatever and not miss out on social links.

I think my biggest complaints with Persona/SMT games previous is that
A) fusion gets overwhelming when you first start, and seems to require you plan really far ahead in terms of fusions/skills in order to avoid wasting loads of time and
B) I don't like it when games force you to miss out on certain items/things and don't let you go back for them, for example when you take a phone call and miss out on whatever's being sold on sunday on TV.

Anyway I'm sticking with it, despite the 3 hours of cutscenes this game is pretty fun. I really like the music/overall style of the game, and the localization seems pretty good. I guess I'll play Order of Ecclesia if I'm out of the house with my DS. Fuck scribblenauts.

also, someone is going to have to explain to me how using a capsule machine takes up the entire afternoon when buying a soda/weapons/items doesn't

edit: Is there any reason to keep your old weapons? Normally I like to keep 1 of everything when I play an RPG, but I'm not sure I see the point considering money gets kinda tight with so many different things to buy...

Working on finishing up Dead Space before Aion. Started the game a while ago and never went back to it after the first 30minutes or so. Just got to ch3 and it's really fun... though I only let myself play these types of games when it's dark outside... The voices in the background freak me the hell out

haha, I guess you did start then.

no reason to keep your old weapons at all. sell 'em off.

I wouldn't worry as much about fusion though. remember that all of your personas can be registered and re-summoned via the compendium, so just fuse away anything that you're not using. also, try and enter the velvet room at least once every few days to check the fusion forecast - sometimes you get REALLY good stuff.

the approach I take to the persona games that really helped me is to just enjoy the story the first time as much as I can, while not worrying too much about the gameplay. it's just too confusing and there are far too many options, many of which cut off your access to other options, to take it too seriously without a guide. then I play the second time through with a guide and get as perfect of a game as possible. well... that's the theory, anyway. I haven't actually done any perfect run-throughs on P3 or P4 yet. but I will.

it's actually sort of funny, playing the persona games in this manner has helped me to let go a lot of my OCD when it comes to games, simply because you can't be OCD with a persona game the first time around and expect to succeed. so instead I just play how I feel like playing, do whatever social links I feel like doing, grind when I feel like grinding, and it works out fantastically. but that may not be your style.

if you want to play it that way you'll be fine, but a couple of caveats: you won't finish all the social links (duh), meaning you won't have access to all of the ultimate personas (although that won't make the game any harder), and if you do play it this way, just make sure you check the weather and don't end up on the last day of a cycle, completely underleveled, with no way to beat the boss. that could suck.

otherwise you can just use a gamefaqs FAQ for a max social link game. there shouldn't be many major plot spoilers in it, just stuff like names and school events.

I also kind of dropped Dead Space after Chapter 3 and I never really went back to it.

Playing Last Remnant because I can't seem to abandon it after all the work I spent doing the guild tasks/leveling my characters/hunting rare monsters and doing all the quests. At least I'm getting close to legitimately finishing the game. :D

I'm trying Wolfenstein but I can't really seem to find myself wanting to go back and play the next day. I have Call of Juarez on my PC also, I think I might try it out and pray it wasn't as boring as Wolfenstein was.

I do want to try Resident Evil 5/Arkham Asylum/Crysis but it seems like I never have any damn free-time anymore.
