Yuri-G, just do what I did, make a separate save for once your inside 'that place' since it's the point of no return, and just not worry about the whole 100%'ing thing. Blow all your currency inside that place on healing meds, and you're good to yawn throughout all the boss fights. At least you'll have 'beaten' the game.
(I did the same thing, stopped at that point in the game, and then two years later I decide to try it on my PS3, loaded up my old data....had a good two hours)

I should, the game's a joke with healing items. I'd like to do a 3-heart (oops, Solar Energy) no-item run, now that would be interesting. I feel like a lot of the intricacy they built into the combat engine is pointless due to how effectively you can spam healing items... which I've only needed in a few fights, anyway (fucking giant owls).

Not too long of a game, but damn if it wasn't entertaining. I still have several Evil Lords to beat in Hero 30, and I'd like to give Hero 300 another whack, but this is one of the only multi-genre games that I've been able to stomach, because it all comes together, and has meaning for being so scatterbrained.

Started getting bored with my Daggermancer on Diablo 2 again. Never had time to use other characters, so I tried out a Rabies Druid. Rabies is way too overpowered in PVP, but it's saved me from 4 PKs without even trying. Since the build isn't so reliant on equipment, I manged to get through normal and hell mode in less than 3 weeks. At this point I'm considering stripping my necro for and make a bunch of trades to pimp out my Druid.

It was gone from my hard drive for over a year. I never sell, or get rid of games though, so, that doesn't really stop me from returning to them. Luckily, I'm not the type that does crazy stuff to their character(s) before quitting.

I ran into a road block when I quit. I have around 6 PCs(+ a laptop)+360+PS2(almsot forgot them two LOL in total in my two houses >.> I am way to lazy to uninstall all 7 copies on my comps and then do it on my 360 and then reformat a PS2 HDD that has no other use LOL

Still I have no plan to fully quit till 14 comes out but when i did for school for a short time Id always run into a copy of it somewhere. I did stay away for the time I needed still, so it worked out.


Even if I did uninstall them its not hard to get. Its all on a nice CD I burned way back, Id have to throw that away too.

Also a reason I would never uninstall them is because of all the mods I did to the game resetting them latter knowing I will come back at some point lol. Getting all the .dats resetting backgrounds, windower files, windower settings, spellcast files, windower macros. God it take me way to long to set up again if i took all FFXI stuff off my PC lol
