Yea I could kill Baal with 2-3 poison dagger strikes with the right setup and Lower Resist. Anything with +poison damage stacks but the DPF and duration is averaged. It takes a long ass time to get the right facets and charms needed since you have to grind Mephisto, but it is doable. The trick is to have a high enough averaged poison with the highest amount of duration mixed with anything that pure increases damage% and reduces resistance% to compensate for the reduced DPF. Eventually you can get ~900K poison damage that might last around 3~4 minutes. Open wounds stacks with this too, but I never found anything worth wile to replace my Black Bog's dagger.
What really helped (and ruined my first account) was a glitched charm that had 900k damage over 12 seconds. It was glitched because the damage kept changing every time I logged in and I think the highest damage was over 3 million/12 seconds. That was the only way I could one shot his ass instead of the usual 2-3 stabs.

Is there any place to see what the average prices items are going for in terms of trade value in Diablo 2? I'm sure I can just sit and observe created trade games and figure out the costs from that, or the trade channel would probably serve the same purpose, but I was just wondering if there was a website or a forum post on a Diablo II forum or something.

d2jsp.org is a pretty handy site. There's a pricing guide for each server located in the respective forum section. It's a massive trading community that is active in the game. 1 hr generally = 5fg, from there each item's accepted trade value in game is written on the guides in fg.

Still playing DaO, actually visiting ffxi for random crafting sprees recently bored :S

Use d2jsp.org. There's no place that is 100% accurate what things are worth, since it's all bartering basically, but eventually prices tend to get "established", more or less. Just watch the threads a lot and eventually you'll get a feel for what things are worth.

You can sometimes sell "worthless" stuff for about the value of a hr (5fg) if someone happens to post a thread in search of it. However, be careful that when the ladder resets, the price of everything is extremely bloated until hrs get massduped.

Beat Dragon Age with 60-65 hours, did pretty much every quest. Of course I only got about half the achievements, so I'll have to replay it later but considering I put in an average of 8 hours a day playing it, I should probably wait lol.

Now playing Borderlands 2nd playthrough, and contemplating what I should play next.

Maybe get back to Nostalgia DS, but I'm kinda in the mood for a Diablo Clone so it's between Torchlight (which I'd have to buy) and Dungeon Siege 2 (which I already own, and never beat). Any thoughts? Really leaning towards Dungeon Siege, it was a lot of fun from what I remember.

pretty much the only game I'm playing right now is Tales of Symphonia. it's a hassle to switch the inputs around so on the rare occasion that I'm playing a Gamecube game, I usually stick with the Gamecube until I'm done, and I don't have any other Gamecube games I want to play right now. eventually I will switch back to PS2 and finish off that piece of shit Phantom Brave. don't get me wrong, I love the game, but there are a few glaring flaws that really piss me off.

that, and my DS is boring the shit out of me. side effect to getting a Cyclo is that you almost get overloaded with all the options, and eventually, you get sick of it. I'll come back to it after a month and love it again, I'm sure.

anyway, as far as ToS goes, just beat Volt. I'd spoiler that, but honestly, getting the summon spirits in a Tales game is like getting Bahamut in a Final Fantasy game. you just know it's going to happen.

I just restarded Beyond Good And Evil before I switched over to the Gamecube for Symphonia, but when I come back to the PS2, I'll probably put that in again. great game, I love the camera aspect, and every new area I come to I'm excited to find new wildlife to snap.

I've reached the point of no return

What else is there before I enter the final dungeon, save, and never play the game again for a few more years?

    this thread must not die!

there are a ton of sidequests in Okami, Julian. I couldn't even list them all off the top of my head. I'd check out gamefaqs. a couple of the ones that come to mind right away: brush stroke upgrades (there's one for each of the elemental strokes, although blizzard you get automatically, plus there are cherry bomb and power slash upgrades), stray beads, restoring all areas completely and maxing praise (pointless but fun), getting all gold dusts (good luck on the last blockhead), um... I can't think of anymore, but I'm sure there are some.

currently I'm back on the DS wagon, playing Mario & Luigi 3. for the life of me I can't imagine some young kid playing this game, it's brutal. sure, you can avoid most attacks if you time it right, but if you screw up, the damage most enemies do is astronomical compared to your total HP. still love it though.

playing Tales of Symphonia, need to get through Ymir Forest (cool puzzles, but frustrating as hell until you figure it out) so I can cure Colette's Angel Toxicoses Modulosis Inflammatis Whatever-The-Fuck. think I'll do a

    Spoiler: show
Kratos run-through this time. I used to see him as a second-rate Auron wannabe, but I've come to appreciate his relationship with Lloyd. plus my other save file has Zelos, so I might as well try the other route.

Recently started up another run on the last remnant. Didn't know what I was doing the first time around, and didn't know how everything scaled with BR (got stuck on base5 iirc, fight was too difficult at BR80 something)...also, I didn't train Rush in Mystic arts, so I only had Pagus with Blackout. Going back to do it right this time!

I'm starting to think you might be some sort of video game superhero, Atreides. Every time I see your posts I'm amazed by the commitment and ability to steam roll through games constantly. lol Also jealous since I'm so lazy about completing games and starting new ones!

Still playing Borderlands on first playthrough with Mordecai, but slow-pokin it!

wut lol? I guess I try to stick to 1 thing at a time just so I can beat it, since I'm really bad about getting back to things in time to remember the story.

After beating Persona 4, I went Uncharted -> Bioshock (again) -> Trine -> Ratchet & Clank -> Chronicles of Riddick (both) -> Dragon Age -> Borderlands -> Batman: Arkham Asylum, but I might be forgetting something. Now I'm working on AC2, and next up will probably be God of War 1 & 2 again, then the Borderlands DLC. After that I really have no clue... hopefully I can find a cheap copy of Infamous, if the new Crystal Chronicles isn't out.

I have no idea when I'll find the time to get back to my DS stuff. Hopefully after all those next gen games I'll be in the mood for a big RPG again, but Persona 4 took a lot out of me.

also the Torchlight demo was really cool.

I beat the last blockhead (camera )

I also got all of the brush upgrades afaik. Currently running around, trying to figure out stray beads that I missed, but holy fuck, I don't think it will be possible without a guide. I have like, 50%ish of them, I think?

Meaning, I'll never get all the stray beads, meaning, I wont ever enter the final dungeon, lolz.

Actually.. I think I missed the cherry bomb 3 upgrade, where is that <.< I don't remember if I got it or not

I never got the cherry bomb upgrades, or the power slash for that matter. seemed fairly useless to me. the game's so goddamn easy that more treasure, more items, isn't really worth the effort. so I can't help you there.

stray beads, I wouldn't worry about. the only thing they get you is total invulnerability on your replay. kinda pointless imo, although it could be fun for messing around.

SEEE? lol I've played and completed like nothing in that time span. Started Baman, got a decent way through, put it down to revisit Mario RPG, then swapped to Xenogears, then swapped to Tales of Eternia thanks to Yuri's thread, and now on Borderlands having not finished any of the aforementioned games. lool
