So What Are YOU Playing?

finished inFamous (good playthrough), definitely gonna have to go back for an evil playthrough at some point soon. Had a blast with it, although some of the combat segments got annoying since the enemies felt a little too powerful to be going up against a superhero.

Now playing Uncharted 2, blasted through 75% of it so far. This game really is fantastic. Probably will play through a 2nd time right after to get all the treasures and work on farming medals, but yeah.

And then I have nothing to play! Was thinking a CSI game for Wii or finishing Secret Files 2. Kinda wanted to do a ps2 prince of persia marathon (since I haven't played #2 or #3 yet), or Sly Cooper 3/4, or Ghostbusters for 360 should get here from Amazon soon.

I've been tearing through games like crazy lately, I beat dragon age with near total completion in just under 6 days, and 995 Ass. Creed 2 achievements in 3 or 4. I know the solution to my problem is a long RPG, but I'm not sure if I have the patience yet. I do have Star Ocean for 360 sitting here unopened too... but I'm really leaning towards Shadow Hearts 3

Are the single-player campaigns for Resistance and Gears of War any good? Been thinking about picking those games up at some point if I see them really cheap.

Resistance 1 had a good and lengthy single player mode, which I enjoyed more so thanks to all the alien weapons the game introduces that I've yet to experience in any other game.

For me, Resistance 2's campaign was really 'meh', and felt disjointed, and the story was pretty shit compared to #1, probably due to lack of overarching narrative that told you what was going on around the planet between levels as you did your business like in the original.


Gears is alright if you don't mind a good looking duck-and-cover game.

I tend to play through at least one old school RPG every month or so.

Modern Warfare 2! Replaying the Last Remnant as well and when I'm at the pc I'm on like my 8th playthrough of Dragon Age Origins or some stupid amount.

gonna beat Mario & Luigi 3 soon. I think. I'm at the part where you have to freeze and unfreeze Bowser's insides to navigate some puzzles.

have to figure out what to play once I'm done with Phantom Brave. I bought a copy of Disgaea 2, but two NIS SRPGs in a row is probably too much to handle. so I'll need something laid-back to play in-between. maybe I'll get back into Beyond Good & Evil? or Viewitful Joe 2... or maybe a straight-up RPG, it's been a while since I've played one. something classic, like a Final Fantasy.

The Bastille class destroyers are still some of my favourite ships. The UNO had the best name ever.

Reaaaaaaaaaaally tempted to just get the Japanese version of it, but it's nearly $80 alone without shipping. Sucks, Vesperia's one of my favorites. Tales of Graces releases soon, but I don't personally own a Wii!

Yeah, I don't think it's really worth the dollars... I mean, there's a ton of extra content but you're looking at spending around $100 on one game, not worth it.
I'd love to get my hands on it though.

Beat inFAMOUS, what-a-twist ending, completely didn't expect that one. Now I'm trying to decide on what game next, Valkyria Chronicles or Uncharted. Any suggestions? I started playing Valkyria Chronicles, only got past the first tutorial fight before I got too anxious to finish inFAMOUS. I want at least one game between another playthrough, going to play it on Hard with Evil karma so I don't have to worry about killing civilians.

Uncharted isn't that long of a game, but it's definitely worth playing, and you'll probably want to replay it at least another time to get all the medals/treasures.

Btw you might want to wait on your 2nd infamous playthrough, supposedly soon they're releasing as DLC the gigawatt blades, which were some pre-order only power or something. I just beat my good karma playthrough recently too, that's what I'm waiting on.

I just beat Uncharted 2 a few times and then Ghostbusters and now I have no clue wtf to play, lol.
