gigawatt blades suck horribly, no point in waiting for them. they basically only work for 1 melee hit, and do tons of damage, thats it though

Currently playing Dragon Age Origins...on my first playthrough...but trying to get both "paths" for each of the allies.
playing MW2. the game is pretty rape, but seems you die quicker than in the first one.
Just finished Dragon Age: Origins, now starting Valkyria Chronicles and trying to find a store that has Tales of Vesperia in stock.
Started into MGS4. I can't count the number of times I've canceled out of menus so far after the MGS 1-3 marathon.
finally finished Phantom Brave. could grind to max level/stats, but whatever, I beat the strongest enemy in the game. that's enough for now.
decided to finish up the games I'm at the last dungeon or endboss on, but haven't completed. beat Okami so far, next I have:
- Shadow Hearts: Covenant
- Ratchet & Clank
- Alundra
- Beyond Good & Evil (though I'll have to start over from scratch)
- Xenosaga (same)
and possibly some other games I'm forgetting. I'm pretty sure the list is larger than that.
considering getting Xenosaga 2 and 3, even though I've heard awful things about 2. but I hear the story in 3 makes up for it... does it?
Two feels like if Xeno was the mom and Saga was the dad and they had there first born and named it Xenosaga, and then they had another child but when it came out Sage was like "Wtf that motherfucker isn't mine, it looks nothing like me!@!" and then later they reconciled and had another child and named it Xenosaga III.
So to recap 2 is pretty horrible, after the first they thought it would be a great idea to completely change everything that was good about the first and made it sell so well to something that was just retarded, they changed the characters to look more amercanized, some voices, completely changed the battle system (to a really shitty system) and item/inventory from the first. Namco thought this would help it be more mainstream and sell even more then the first, HOWEVER Xenosaga III is fantastic and by far the best of the series (3>1>>>>>>>2). It is worth playing through one, (which is good, just CS/Story heavy which I like sometimes) now two you can either bare through the crap just to make it to 3 or you can skip 2 all together as all of the backstory from two is available to read in the begining of 3, plus all the other youtube montages etc. But III is a must play.
Xenogears disc 1 >>> Xenogears disc 2> Xenosaga ep. 3 > Xenosaga ep. 1 >>>>>>>>>>> Shitsaga ep. 2
hmm... so I either read through 2, or play it.
I'll have to sit on that one, reading the plot on the internet sounds boring, but then again, playing the game sounds boring. 3 sounds very worth it, though.
Pretty much, there are a couple of Main plot points worth getting, the rest is character back stories which is nice, You might be able to find a good recap video on Youtube but not sure. Xenosaga III is worth doing whichever is less painful for you cause the game is just badass.
should have fucking bought a copy of 3 when I had the chance. all the negative hype about 2 kept me from even thinking about it... turns out it's a great game that's gone rare as hell and is accordingly expensive.
oh well, used copies are only around 30 on amazon. that's not nearly as bad as the new ones, which they officially quote at $170 or so. although some of the merchants are selling new copies for much less.
I have a local GameXchange in the area that goes on spurts where it will have 1-2 copies at a time, usually complete and usually in good condition. Picked up a copy a few months back because I got an itch to replay it again think I paid $15? (Oh, and it was just as good the third time)
$15, you suck. I'll be lucky to snag a copy at $30 + S&H, unless I start gamestop-diving again. which I might since I'm looking for a cheap copy of Tales of the Abyss as well.
lol, let me know if you want me to swing by there and see if they have any in stock.
seriously? I'd love it if you could, I'd pay you shipping and handling + tip![]()
Decided to go ahead and start Uncharted, going to save Dead Space until I'm done with this quarter so I can just play it stoned and hope I'm not shitting myself that way.
Only thing that sucked about Uncharted so far is getting used to the controls, they felt kind of clunky at first, but were pretty easy to get the hang of. That, and on that German U-boat in the beginning. I'm a somewhat claustrophobic person, and holy shit was that part making my skin crawl.
