Dragon Quest Swords is better than people seem to give it credit for. It's not really an RPG but it's certainly got a nice DQ feel to it, which I really enjoy.
You should try to find cheap copies of De Blob and Dead Space Extraction![]()

Been trying this. Fiancee and I wanted to play an MMO with a couple of friends who can't afford subscription-based ones. Graphics are meh, combat is pretty basic. Not a lot of character customization. Thing I like though is the Sprite system. You get this little "assistant" who goes mining or foraging for you. You can also choose which type to get, based on what class you want your character to be. Some make bows, guns, axes, or some make armor for certain classes. Pretty hassle free, just make sure it's always busy doing something, or it's mood changes and it will start returning from trips empty-handed.
Dmc4. AC2. MW2. Any tips for mw2 sorta new to shooters don't play them often. should I just hope into online or play through campaign to get better? (I can't beat the second mission the one in the snow ._.)
Valkyria - Chp 4, lost right near the end and rage quit, switched to the other game I'm playing:
Eternal Sonata - fuck that fort dungeon, beat the boss, reached forte city and stopped for the night.
I've just been alternating whenever I feel like rage quitting one of them, but it's kinda hard to rage quit on eternal sonata. feel like picking up valkyria again![]()
Right now I'm playing Demon's soul and holy shit this game is hard. I beat the first boss and I havent been able to beat another boss yet. The giant knight destroys me, the giant spider destroys me, its so difficult xD. I blow through all my healing items before I can really make a dent in them and the 2 or 3 guides I read totally suck.
I've been bouncing around a lot of games lately.
Currently taking a break from Demon's Souls until the online event is over, to which I'll finish up my ore-farming so I can get my platinum trophy.
In the meanwhile, I've been juggling a couple DS games, namely The Dark Spire (old-school as fuck and hard while we're at it) & Time Hollow (not really digging it, but giving it a couple more chapters before I give a verdict), as well as playing Torchlight (this'll certainly be a game I'll play in spurts, vs. focusing on it until it's beaten) with some Fallout 3 on the side.
Also currently downloading Indigo Prophecy, so hopefully that'll be an enjoyable title.
I've been playing Assassin's Creed 2 very good game.
For what I paid, I don't mind if it hits a brick wall near the end as long as the rest of the experience was worthwhile. Depending on how Indigo goes may tip me over on being excited for Heavy Rain also.
Probably more of a development time thing rather than disc space, since the game is only 2.5gb as far as my Steam install goes, and dual-layered DVDs can handle up to 8gb.
[EDIT] Arrrgh, horrible keyboard controls and no widescreen support, time to bust out the 360 controller....
[EDIT2] Ah thank god, the 'tank' controls were only in effect for the keyboard setup. Time to go enjoy this game while slouched back. Rumble seems to be working to, and am surprised they actually kept that code intact on the PC port. ;/
After NewGame+ #1 you can essentially blaze through the game (or was the case for me anyhow), so the only thing that really becomes a grind are the weapon upgrade trophies, some of which should be fucking gold trophies rather than bronzes.edit: also jesus fuck @ demon's souls platinum
Got a logitech controller for christmas so I'm a few retro games I haven't beat starting with Mario 64. It is one of those games I've tried playing before on just a keyboard and it didn't work out very well (fucking penguin race). Looking for other games that fit this bill too, not just 64 games, ps1/2 too!
Ugh, Eternal Sonata makes me rage sometimes. The gameplay is decent, but god the characters and story and horrible. I also didn't expect the dungeons to be a grindfest (in terms of getting through them) and there to be so few/short story segments. Each hour spent in a dungeon is rewarded by like 5 mins in a cutscene.
At the last dungeon now... I guess I should finish it at some point lol.
Man assassins creed is way different than i thought it was gonna be, but in a good way. Thought it was gonna be a 15th century GTA but it has a really nice story and I absolutely love the gameplay.
