Have to say I do prefer their method to 'installing' than other games, even though it made for little oddities my first 15min of gameplay.
(primarily the game not syncing lips and audio properly)
Shame to hear they'll appear regardless of me having not initiated any of the DLC quests.
(although I had to say I had an Oblivion moment when I first exited Vault 101 and got spammed with quests, just like I did when I Knights of the Nine installed >.> )
Jeez, 300 hours, wtf were you doing? I could see myself maybe spending 80 hours if I didn't use a guide (mainly trodding about the map finding the bobbleheads and the behemoths) for trophy completion sake, but otherwise there really doesn't seem much to do in FO3, unlike Oblivion which is gigantic in comparison in terms of content.
I got lucky on my purchase, grabbed GOTY for $29 back around Xmas, last copy, and finding it was by accident since I was actually visiting said store to grab a copy of Motorstorm: Pacific Rift which was advertised for the same price, to which none were in stock. ;/
(good thing I did miss it though since my local Walmart had it for $19 two weeks later >.> )
Was the main reason I held off on buying Fallout 3, since I knew Bethesda would do a GOTY compilation with all the crap. Saved myself from spending $60 + $50 of DLC, at the cost of waiting nearly a year to play the thing.
