Valkyria Chronicle on PS3, I've wanted to play this for a while, so I picked it up for 20 bucks and started it last night. Enjoying it so far. I also started playing Okami (inspired by playing Darksiders) again for PS2, hopefully this time I'll stick to it, and finish it.

Playing through Assassin's Creed 2 right now and I'm loving every minute of it. Took me a bit to get used to the free running system again but all the improvements over the original are amazing. Not really a fan of quicktime events in games but at least there haven't been any out of nowhere "success or die" moments.

Beat Muramasa and got all 108 blades, now I just need to level up so I can equip the last five or so... d'oh. Tried Total Pandemonium and made it to the last part but ran out of healing items. Still, a pretty good indication, if I can make it that far without even being fully prepared.

Despite what some people say I enjoy the plot of Sands of Destruction. I mean, I'm certainly not playing through it for the gameplay, which is basically, "Press the Y button and the enemy dies," repeated about six thousand times, at least once you chain flurry attacks.

So after Bayonetta, what should I rent next? Uncharted 2 or Brutal Legend? Very hard choice, would help more or less if someone could tell me which one of the two is longer, more difficult, etc. Just want something to tide me over until Kawaii Ocean International.

Well Brutal Legend ain't all that great, to be perfectly honest, even though it got a lot of hype by being a Schafer game. Uncharted 2 is easily the better of the two.

Ugh hard deciding between MAG, Demon Souls or waiting for Bioshock 2. Is anyone insterested in White Knight Chronicles? I haven't looked at it at all and am too lazy to watch the trailer, so is it gonna be shit or might it be decent?

Playing ACII & Darksiders while waiting on WKC, ACII is leaps and bounds better the the first one, very happy with it so far. Darksiders is one of those games that is just fun and awesome all rolled into one really like it.

Brutal Legend is about 7 hours long, and really not all that good and the multiplayer is boring as shit.

Uncharted 2, far and away a better game, campaign is around 14-15 hours and the multiplayer is really fun.

Seriously ACII should get the most improved franchise award, everything I have come across is sooo much better and so much new stuff added, that feels like it should have been there all along, Darksiders I was worried the art style would put me off but once I started playing I actually like it. I love all the attention they put into the presentation of this game.

I hated the first AC, I stopped playing after an hour and never touched it again. Loved the second game though, was a lot more fun.

Playing lots of Armored Core: For Answer online lately. I'm not liking what I'm hearing about the upcoming one, with smaller, blockier ACs designed to be slow and shoot big guns.

I don't really see where Bioshock 2 is setting itself up to be connected to Bioshock 1 in anything more than location, so I don't think not playing the original would detract from it. (Though the more features and changes they reveal about 2 the less inclined I am to buy it.)

The overall story and mythos is all tied together. Just reading up on the story from the first should fill in the gaps pretty well.

I would advise playing the first though if anything just because it's a great game and it's pretty cheap now.
