Bsatok: 1
Windy: 1

yagudo pilgrims summoned a turret the other day. I was watching them gather in one spot and they started doing a summoning magic animation.
yag turrets spawns War Lynxes
when i logged in, Bastok was under attack by Shadowhand w/ Raigegue R d'Oraguille.
Have turrets shown up in the cities? Or are they too big to fit?
Cerberus:
Windy 2
Bastok 1
Sandy 1
Beastmen 17
Wait, what? I've been gone for a few months; what deus ex machina device did the beastmen get to go from controlling nothing but their front porch to the entire world?
They call it SE.
Caitsith:
Bastok and Sandy: 1
Windy: 2
Beastmen: 17
I was hoping to make the most of this and do Hawk Eye OP's but they aren't available.![]()
Suggestion to Square Enix:
Allied Turrets
San d'Oria can have giant Elvaan heads shooting spears, Bastok can have monstrous Galka heads spewing axes, and then little old Windurst can have a positively colossal Tarutaru head that spits hot fire.
IT WILL BALANCE CAMPAIGN, TRUST ME
<= Huge fire spitting taru head.
You meant HUGERER!
Windurst just controls the city now, and there are constant battles in it. Most of the NPCs prefer to hang out in front of the Campaign Ops counter, so they don't have to bother doing any actual fighting unless someone trains mobs onto them.
They also NEVER touch West Saruta. They'll attack other zones; they've made some headway in Sauromugue, but the rest have a full beastman bar and nothing for the allies. I've waited and waited for battles in Saruta, but they never seem to come. I have no idea why Windurst couldn't try to take that back; perhaps the 30-odd NPCs smoking in front of the counter could give it a shot.
Our morale bar is full, Recon level 9, Prosperity really low. I don't get what they're inhaling in that tower. Sandy is actually making a comeback in some areas, although anywhere they have a full or nearly full bar, the beastmen still have a full one too. Bastok held Gustaberg this time, but it and every other one of their regions are fully hosed now.
Even if SE doesn't rebalance the difficulty a bit tomorrow, I hope they tune the AI a bit. I guess this wouldn't be entirely hopeless if lots of people actually cared greatly about Campaign, but that isn't the case no matter how hard SE wants it to be true. At least, not on our server, and it seems like not on most others.
Anyone else experienced this, I went afk in windy on my mnk with a 1.5k buffer w/o tags on while I went to take a shower. I was just resting there and I come back dead. Got raised up and I now have a 900xp buffer. So while a town is under attack everyone can be hurt? even w/o tags?
call it a glich(if its true), until this update how many times has a city been attacked? like once?
There is a campaign in windy every 10mins I think. An it's been going on since Rocl made this topic I think.
I think you resting may have put you on hate list, or someone cast a spell on you while on a mobs hate list, and you resting may have had some weird effect there.Originally Posted by gandorf
I found a couple people dead in odd places in Bastok without tags on, apparently afk cause they didn't accept raises.
As of this moment in Caitsith, Bastok Markets is actually losing ground to the Quadav---they have more influence. Just by a little bit, but still.
I can't even do a C. Ops (which was fixed, so I heard) with Campaign battles literally restarting mere moments after the last one ended.
Up until this update, I never even saw West Sarutabruta or North Gustaberg get taken by the beastmen.Originally Posted by dejet
One thing I am noticing is that none of the efforts to reclaim beastmen territory are making a dent. One time, I saw a Windurst force claim to have retreated even though the fortifications were reduced by 30 and the only Yagudo defenders were driven off.
Another time, I saw a message log for a campaign battle in the city from somewhere else (I think it was a San d'Orian battle), where after a victory, one of their forces returned victorious and the other retreated, from the same battle.....something's not right.....![]()
One wave of NPCs was killed before the battle ended, the other wave arrived later and defeated the Beastmen. The messages are somewhat delayed so that seems like the most likely scenario.Originally Posted by Melios
