Dead Zones

Potatoninja created a topic on this but it's poorly labeled so I decided to create a more distinct topic. I and a few people in my LS are having problems with dead zones again (Whitegate specifically) For those who don't remember what the symptoms are, I can't log in to my main char because I'm stuck in WG. The only solution I've found is to have someone move me, at which point I can log in just fine, but if I return the problem comes up again. Was there ever a fix found for this?

the weird part is its when i zone out of whitegate i been standing there all day but when i try to go to woodlands or use the warp taru it says my char isnt even in whitegate anymore but it wont let me log in after awhile i can usually get back in normaly

i'm pretty sure the last time this happened to a lot of people it was discovered that turning off audio (in the ffxi config program, not the in-game settings) would fix the situation. i have no clue if that works this time. hope you get your stuff fixed soon.

I was disconnected 3 or 4 times yesterday, but I don't remember if a specific zone was involved or not.
