PS1 RPGs

Looking for some good ones, I was still somewhat young and not really into the PSX/RPGs at the time and it seems like I missed out on a lot of the 'first' games of trilogies/multiple sequel games. Just looking for some input on some good PSX RPGs that should be/are worth playing (it's all a matter of opinion to most, don't hang on the phrasing).

Currently I've only got:
Azure Dreams (old game, just replaying because I used to love it)
Legend of Legaia
Breath of Fire III (IV worth playing?)
Wild Arms
Legend of Dragoon
Xenogears
FF#

anything else worth adding to the list of shit to play? I'm only on the third disc of Legend of Dragoon atm, but it should go quick and I want to have something to play after.

is all I can think of atm but pretty much all Squaresoft games for PSX are all great

Chrono Cross and Star Ocean 2 are both awesome.

Breath of Fire IV is good.

Vandal Hearts 1 & 2 are great.
Castlevania : Symphony of the Night is one of the greatest video games ever made.
Grandia is enjoyable if you can stand the horrendous voice acting.
Star Ocean 2 is one of my favorite games of all time.

Mixed Opinions on it, but I liked Legend of Mana, just don't expect a huge sweeping storyline. For different reasons, but you might enjoy Chrono Cross too (personally I didn't, but alot of people love the game)

woah, and here I was thinking I was the only one who ever played vanguard bandits..suppose I'll throw this out there, anyone ever play Rolan's Curse 2?

Anyway, Chrono Cross was fun, played that a while back, was good but I didn't flip shit over it like some people do. Also have SO2, just forgot to mention it, looks promising. Will try and find some of the other games people listed thanks for the ideas gents.

You are required by law to leave the voices on while playing Tales of Eternia to bask in the downright awful voice acting.

The only thing I didn't like about Tales of Eternia is that the main character was pretty much the worst character in the game

With Meredy in the party... I can't agree.
I fucked hated Meredy with a passion.
Even after they got the Orz Earring she still couldn't be translated properly... she speaks like a barbarian!

Tales of Destiny is still > Eternia to me! That's why I cry for jp onry Tales of Destiny II.

Definitely get SoTN, it may look like an SNES game but it's one of my favorite PS1 games.

Holy shit I remember Vanguard Bandits! I loved that game. I loved anything made by Working Designs to be truthful.
