Tiamat, Aery(lol), Dynamis, merits? I'm confused as to what we're talking about. If anyone were to even glimpse at a White Mage in any of those situations looking for a Sleepga, there are problems far beyond how many extra mobs you just pulled.

This is the part where I get to call you an idiot and remind you that the fastest Sleepga to land is the best one, regardless of who cast it. WHM is capable of participating in crowd control if you actually put forth the effort to gear it properly. 99% of WHM have no enfeebling set, so your inability to see outside the box is only slightly forgivable.

No staves, full time gear, struggled with the concept of Refresh, never cast haste. I actually had to tell this guy to refresh himself.

So, after a quick search, I found a replacement. He arrived about 20 minutes later, and we promptly booted Dimmitri. I decided I'd better check this guy to make sure he's up to par...

Once again, full time gear. No staves. He was a little better than the last one. He sometimes cast refresh on our BLU, and even hasted me (BRD)! He didn't haste the NIN, though Had to put up with him for about an hour. He even Enfeebled (Bind, with the occational Dia)!

Found a WHM after a whole lot of searching... Kicked the RDM, and finally got some EXP!

Re: WHM/SCH - It's not a gimp thing if you don't have it. But I will say this much - once you've used it and learned how much better it is most of the time, you probably won't go back to anything else. Personally the only time I use /BLM anymore is when I'm running around on quests or getting synth mats from npcs and I want a reusable warp back to Whitegate.

This is what I get for posting so late at night being so tired. Ok what I'm trying to say that while /sch is a very nice sub, I don't see it as an omg you have to have it viable subjob yet for /whm.

Yes it's nice and it's got a lot to offer in some situations but in Dynamis I see no reason to say a whm is gimp for subbing /blm or /smn *which tbh I hate /smn on whm* seeing as both of those subs give more mana to help "support" the main job which is what most people care about.

As long as a whm has mp to get their job done, nobody else should care what they sub be it /blm /sch/ or /smn. If you've having issues with a whm not subbing /sch because you think it's gimped then just deal with it. I certainly wouldn't snub my nose at a whm in this day and age for not having /sch.

It was a lame example of calling out 4 people being gimped for not having it & smacks of total arrogance.

I could care less about someone with an NQ Mantle. Yeah it's cheap but NQ isn't a bad choice if they don't have the gil for it at the moment then get so NQ Mantle is fine by me. Only thing I would consider gimp is using something that gives no benifits whatsoever in a back slot.

I don't think NQ Amemet is ACTUALLY bad, it is 1 Str and 10 Att.

NQ Amemet and +1 nearly ANYTHING else, is retarded, since NQ/HQ price/benefit ratio on Amemet +1 blows the shit out of basically ANYTHING else in the game.

It's one of the few HQ's that has a REALLY significant enhancement for the role it plays, and the price you pay.

NQ Hauberk, 240k maybe, HQ Hauberk, 2.5 mil: Net gain 1 Str 1 Dex 2 Acc 2 Att for 2.2 million.

Yes, I've seen people with NQ Amemet and HQ Hauberk, repeatedly, suggesting it wasn't a borrowed piece.

The sheer number of people whiteknighting /BLM here is hilarious. It's outdated and useful in about three situations, two of which only come up if someone else fucks up. All these comparisons of /BLM for WHM to /NIN for melees are absolutely retarded as well, as situations where you need superior, reliable defense come up a hell of a lot more often than "black mages and red mages don't know how to fucking cast sleepga."

Stop trying to come up with reasons for not having /SCH leveled. If you're not subbing BLM so you can ES Slow, Tractor some idiot, or help clean up after some retard puller's mess, then /SCH is by leaps and bounds the superior subjob to the point of rendering the others completely useless in comparison. I don't see how this is even an argument. You ARE a lazy gimp if you have WHM75 and not SCH37.

What does Whm get from /Blm vs /Sch, bout the same as a Drk or Drg get's from /Nin vs /Sam.
