Oh and just to stay on topic. This THF kept telling the mage's they were doing it wrong when he died to a ~200 Goblin Rush. He had no DEX gear, was /NIN but had no Utsusemi. His normal SA hits were doing ~70 with a Sword, whilst mine were doing ~150-200 when I was 1 level below him. On top of this, he refused to believe that DEX improved Sneak Attack damage.

Although I admit, the gear choices for THF at this lvl (27) aren't tremendous, but just disregarded any of the advice I tried to give, I was as nice as possible about it as well.

Well, obviously I would need to see what the rest of your gear is, but I don't see how you could be. And if you're suggesting I'm wrong in regards to the information provided in the previous thread, you can feel free to grab a calculator and prove otherwise.

Took me like 3 reads of your post to realize that was a THF and not a melee RDM.

His gear isn't all that hot but if you're bragging that you can do more damage with a dagger than his sword, you're the moron because sword is better damage for thief till Viper Bite.

Ok in his defense I've seen Lotmorning's gear on SAM and it's pretty much the best you can get bar-none outside of a Relic GKT which I know he's working on atm.

Lot usually parses high as fuck vs most anyone he competes with. The only person he parsed agaisnt and lost every single time was Eudon's *Have to dig up a pic of his gear* relic bow. Honestly my shit is above average and he doesn't have any acc issues at all with that thing on in merits even when he's eating meat.

Fully capped STR, GKT Merits, Justice Torque, That Earring I'll never use, Brutal, ect.

90% of the time unless it's me on MNK, Lot ends up nearly killing himself more then me because he pulls so much damn hate. Considering he's on that gearset vs merit mobs, He is anything but fucking gimped.

I didn't call anyone gimp. On the contrary, actually; The person I corrected in the other thread had almost identical equipment to this guy, and I commended him on his Samurai. That said, he's still making poor equipment choices, and I've already told him exactly how to fix it. If he chooses to ignore the page-long discussion that went on only hours before hand, well, that's his prerogative.

Its been covered far too many times before, and still remains just as true as the day it was set in stone: Askar Korazin is for Dragoons, Bravuras, and Amanomurakumos, and even that's questionable with the addition of Aurum, which is probably superior to the former to anyone who can equip it.

I'd do it 24/7, but when I need to focus, I get extremely thrown off when I can visually confirm that I'm wearing what I should be wearing for a certain spell.
