Now, his gear is somewhat questionable.

Last I checked unbroken Destroyers =/= unbroken Trial Knuckles, and you're an idiot if you think unbroken Destroyers are passable in XP.

Sorry, I assume when I asked "Do you mind if I use Tachi of Trails to break latent" and people say "no problem" that they dont mind.

Its not hard to find a skill up group, but if you want to break it while leveling it up, I dont see a problem. Some trail weapons do suck but stuff like Tachi and Knuckles arent bad enough to were its going to slow down a group.

Soloing ws points is easy. I solo almost all 300points for my h2h in kuftal tunnel and western altepa desert. I made some gil off manticores crabs and spiders while unlocking them also and almost no down time.
