I don't know what's wrong with using the best possible WS Sword outside of Excal in Campaign...maybe Joy would be better damage overall if only single wielding(or more TP for PLD/DNC), but 1) he may not have a Joyeuse, 2) maybe he wanted to see larger Vorpal #'s for a bit for epeen purposes(I sometimes use ESword over Joy for this in Campaign even though I know Joy has greater overall output), and 3) it's Campaign, who the fuck cares? Not wearing your Macuahuitl +1 in campaign isn't gimped/wtf on its own, either you're going to have an easy enough time holding hate b/c there's not a ton of people slapping the mob, or DDs will wtfpwn it and you'll lose hate, either way it's Campaign and whether or not you lose hate b/c of -4 enmity doesn't matter for shit.
