So all the dloads i see are 2.0.0.14 and when i dload and run it it says fire fox version 2.0 Is this an error on my side or am i not crazy and only seeing 2.0 dload links on the email they sent me and firefox site?
I just clicked the check for compatible version button in firefox when I looked, I can't check and see if theres another version of AB up for FF3 or not, while on the topic of add-ons for firefox what skins does everyone use? the default one seems bland
Is that free? As in no ads and pop ups by default or do you still need to pay to remove that.Originally Posted by Viena
unless it changed since v7 (when I used it) opera didn't have ads and you didn't have to pay to remove them![]()
Skins: I just use the plain one at home, and at work I use Aquatint Black Gloss 1.0.1
I used Opera for a while but it lagged me out of FFXI >>. My brother loves it though.
Wtf why does firefox 3.0 put my favorites in the drop down bar? shit sucks. I'm going back to the old version.

You don't even really need to do those things with 3.0, or at least I don't... my 3.0 is going lightning quick without any tweaks so far.
The only plugins I have right now are adblock, chatzilla and noscript
It's called "the awesome bar", you can turn it off though.Originally Posted by SupHammer

ff3 somehow didn't wow me like opera did with 9.5
How do you turn off the awesome bar it's irritating for meOriginally Posted by Gere
The old bar was fine. I already have a my favorites organized and easily accessible, I don't need them to show up in the location bar. The new "awesome bar" would also show random pages that I have recently been to. Not to mention the huge-ass font. I did find out how to disable it, so i was a bit hasty with my first reply. Change = bad, status quo = good.Originally Posted by Day
First, go to your Firefox settings by putting "about:config" into the location bar. Click past the warning message, and scroll down to browser.urlbar.RichResults. This sets how many recommendations the Awesome Bar will display -- it's 12 by default, but you want to change it to 0.How do you turn off the awesome bar it's irritating for me
My bad, i didn't remember downloading anything, so I didn't think it was an add-on.Originally Posted by Azalee

Nor do I and I'm running FF3 right now...
I just tried to run the executable and I was told it was corrupt.
Redownload it, I just had the same problem. Their server is getting reamed from all the traffic.Originally Posted by Dmitry
