Incorrect. Take it from someone who just recently had an ES Freeze II half-resisted on a Pudding literally minutes after explaining to his friend that the first rule of BLM soloing is "Thou Shalt Have Thy Nukes Resisted On Chain #5". ES grants a huge boost to magic accuracy, but after that incident in particular I'm convinced it's not 100%.
Also note QQTH and the fact that ES Gravity is able to land on it but usually does not.
the reason ES grav doesn't land on QQTH would be because of him being a THF, which has Resist Gravity trait. Traits like Resist Gravity, bind, sleep are calculated after your ES/M.Acc
Out of 4 years of playing BLM, i've yet to see a resist, (minus enfeebles on gods)...
if by somechance people have actually gotten resisted with ES, this is the same "100%" argument as the charybdis dropping joyuese
