PS2 software?!?!!

Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of FFXI for the PS2?
We've played for about 4 years and now we need to reinstall and can't find our disks - and nobody near us carries it anymore!!!

I know I have the Treasures of A. PS2 disk. I never played on the US PS2, but I bought the PS2 version just for the CD key. You can have it if you need it.

The gamestops around here don't carry it for Playstation anymore. They did a regional search and the nearest store that has it is like 3 hrs away >< They can't ship it to the store either - which blows...

Yeah right, I can't even get local friends of mine to buy them. Was just lamenting about my stupid purchase. Besides, I've got a really cool wall of PS2 HDDs in my computer room! :D

I had to go to three stores yesterday to try to find a copy of the Vana'diel collection 2008 for the PS2. The copy I ended up getting was some bullshit open copy of it for the PS2. No doubt the code was used already but I just wanted it for the CD.

I could have ordered it online, but fuck that. I live in NYC, it should be easy to find a copy of a game right?

That's the reason we are trying to get another copy, too.
We want to install it on our ps3 and lost our old disks. Someone told us you could get it from the psstore, but that's not the case - we checked last night.

After one of the latest firmware updates, the collection worked on my PS3 (60gb)

I can confirm. I installed it last night on my 60gig.

I tried installing all the original discs on my 60 gig a few months back and it would absolutely not install CoP, it kept locking up on the main screen. I tried it in my PS2 and it worked fine so who knows. I borrowed a friend's copy of Vana 08 to get it installed although I never plan on playing it on PS3 since it makes my eyes bleed.

I want to put it on my PS3, but I can't go back to the PS2 resolutions. They should port it to PS3 (shouldn't be too hard between the two versions, should it?) and update the resolution kinda like TOC but a little nicer.
